250,000 miles and still going ! 3/29/2012

Ray, Em and the crew have been taking care of me and my truck through every kind of repair this side of major body work you can think of and are always accomodating, professional and friendly. The work is always excellent and the crew is friendly and willing to explain the problems and fixes. I drive 100 miles a day to Petrolia over the ugliest road in the county and they have kept me on the road for over 250,000 miles so far. You will not find a better, or more fair shop to do business with in this area ! Pros: null Cons: null more

Good Expertise and Fairness 5/17/2011

When my car's transmission broke while visiting from out of town, Old Town Auto provided instant value with good consulting, researched all of my options for a replacement, and even did free adjustments to make sure me and my family were safe on the road getting back home. Impressive, considering I am from 300 miles away. more

Ray and Emily are tops! 4/10/2011

I have been dealing with Ray and Emily for a long time now and they have always been great to me. I am a journeyman diesel mechanic and understand very well working on vehicles is not a finite science. \r Another thing I understand is that just because they put brakes on your car they don't have anything to do with your master cylinder failing a couple months down the road. It's a piece of machinery - it wears out over time. \r I drive a truck with now over 200M and Ray has kept it going! more

We had a vehicle worked on at Old Town Muffler. They had parked the vehicle on the road overnight. The next morning they found the window busted out and thousands of dollars worth of sterio equiptment stollen out of it. We contacted them several times the following months, each time giving them the information on the system that was stollen. They eventually told us that they were not responsible for it and that because we didn't know the serial number to the equiptment they would not be replacing it or giving us any comparable compensation. I will never bring another vehicle here and suggest everyone stays far away from this company before they screw you over as well. more

OK work but not worth the lies 10/20/2010

I think they do OK work, but you can't trust them on their word for anything. I sold a vehicle to them, they never registered it in their own name, let some tweaker friend of theirs borrow it, get a bunch of tickets. 4 or 5 times now they said they would take care of it, and every time I get screwed over and have to take care of it myself. Ray seems like a nice guy, but every time he's told me "ill take care of it" - that has meant go screw yourself. I try to have faith in people when they give their word and I couldn't be more disappointed in every dealing ive had with them. more

Good work, decent price 3/23/2008

I had rear brakes that wouldn't stop squeaking, despite having the brakes replaced twice. This place got rid of the squeak. I had to wait an extra day for the correct part to come in, but the work was still timely. The price was about average. Shop staff was friendly. more
