Nunzio's

I'm from Brooklyn, born and raised. When I moved out to Staten Island, I immediately threw my hands up in disgust because the pizza out here is absolutely gross compared to Brooklyn Pizza... and then... I found Nunzio's. \r \r Nunzio's Pizza is the ONLY Pizza that even comes close to Brooklyn Pizza and is hands down - THE BEST PIZZA you're gonna find on Staten Island. Everybody I know says the same thing... Nunzio's makes a terrific slice.\r \r Some people say Brothers Pizza is the best but they're so friggin rude over there who the hell wants to be bothered? They may be able to make a decent pie but who needs to put up with the attitude over there? You're better off going to Nunzio's... they're all nice guys, prompt service, they remember their customers names and faces, and the food is great.\r \r In short, let me sum this whole thing up... My family has been enjoying Nunzio's Pizza for over 40 years...It is fantastic!...Back then, Staten Island didn't have many pizza places; now there are many, many new-comers. But, none can match Nunzio's taste....From a young age, I always looked froward to the basil leaf placed in the center of the pie. I was a 26 year Staten Island resident, and the one thing I loved was Nunzio's pizza. I lived on the other side of the island near many other pizzerias, but the one I loved the most was Nunzio's. Great thin crispy crust, with a great olive oil flavor. I think they are one of only a few which drizzles oil on the dough before adding the tomatoes.
