Nirvana Day Spa

I went in for a milk and honey pedicure. My feet have never felt so good! It's a little spendy for a pedicure, and not something I'd do weekly, but everyone should definately treat themselves to this sometime. more

I must say that the fact that I didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable during my full-body massage says a lot about my massage therapist--I have serious personal space issues, and on top of that, my massage therapist was a man (a point of potential discomfort for me). He went out of his way to make me psychologically comfortable, and I had the most amazing massage ever.. Omigosh, I felt like I was on drugs afterwards.. Anyway, the only problems I had with the spa was that any time I needed water, I had to track down someone to get it for me, and they seemed a little disorganized. It seemed to take 15-20 minutes for me to pay and get out of there... But I did like the fact that there was absolutely no snootiness, and for being an EXCELLENT spa in the Pearl district, that's quite refreshing. this place is a gem...I've been there 3 times in the last year or so and it's great. I belong to 24-Hour Fitness too..two blocks over...I've been thinking about making it a weekly treat to workout, shower, then walk over to have a massage while my car is still parked for free. This salon is absolutely fabulous. Gloria greeted me at the door with open arms and a big smile. The staff really goes the extra effort to make you have a wonderful experience. I think I have died and gone to heaven! I am a self professed spa diva, so when my friend told me I had to experience this hot new spa in the pearl, I was a little hesitant, since I have been around the "spa" block a few times. But I am happy to say that all the doubt left as soon as I walked through the doors. The receptionist greated me with a warm and friendly smile and a complimentary glass of champagne! then I was wisked away by the esthetician for some perfectly excecuted bikini waxing. After Christine worked her magic, I was off to the BEST massage I have ever had by a latin hunk named Pablo! I have truely never experienced such a genuinely caring, professional and knowledgable staff. My only regret is that I did not know about the morrocan pedicure throwns! Next Time! the pedicure area in Nivrana is really comfortable and unique...my friend and i both got the milk and honey pedicure and loved it...the women who helped us weren't so talkative that it was overbearing, but they were very friendly and really nice...i plan on going back for a manicure or pedicure... Simply put, after your first visit, you will look forward to each time you can again walk through the doors and into Nirvana. Nirvana was greater than what my friends told me to expect and that first experience at Nirvana has become one of the best experiences of this New Year for me. I have visited Spas in Beverly Hills, Palms Springs, LA and several throughout Asia. What you will find at Nirvana through their wonderful staff is a grace and style that is second to none in Oregon. but for people to give them all 10s is like all students getting A's these days. It undermines the value of the grading system. Without saying anything negative about my experience at this spa...I will say that it's not the absolute best a spa could be and so I can't give it all 10s like everyone else did..even though I feel a bit of pressure that to do anything less looks like I didn't like my experience. ..a good experience over all though more

Planning a wedding is very stressful. I was looking so forward to my bachelorette party which included a spa treatment. What I received at The Nirvana Spa was exactly what I needed. The atmopsphere was welcoming and elegant. The staff pampered my wedding party like we were queens-for-the-day. The spa even served champagne and appetizers while we enjoyed facials, massages and pedicures. After leaving the salon, I felt refreshed and ready for my big day.
