Stress-free with these movers! 7/12/2010

These movers really saved me when the original company I hired did not show up. I called NYC Moving Manhattan Movers at 9am on Sunday,July 11th, they took all of my information, gave me a quote and had a truck with 3 movers at my building by 1pm. They were fast, efficient, careful and friendly. They packed loaded and delivered my things from Fort Lee NJ to NYC in 4 hours, AMAZING! The best part was that the quote was what I paid at delivery, no inflation like all of the other times I have moved, great service. Pros: Same quote as given more

Secure move, nice personnel 7/8/2010

Hi, my name is Sammy and I was managing my parents' relocation from New York City, NY to Miami, FL where I bought a new house, so I decided to take my parents to Miami but since my job takes all my time I had just a few hours to find a good mover in NYC. My parents are 70+ so it was absolutely impossible for them to set the move themselves, and all I had was the Internet to find a good and reliable Manhattan based moving company being able to provide long distance move from New York City to Miami. I checked 15 something moving companies, their rates and terms, asked dozens of questions and finally I hired NYC Moving Manhattan Movers for my parents' move. The company provided us with the top level of moving( and packing as well since my mom has a lot of stuff to be packed). The delivery was within 2 days and it was the same crew. Our family just moved from Midtown Manhattan to the Upper East Side ( June 30, 2010 ),and NYC Moving Manhattan Movers were recommended to us by one very satisfied client from our building. Everyone we came in contact with at NYC Moving Manhattan Movers from the office personnel to the movers were very helpful and courteous. The move itself could have been a disaster if we had used a different moving company. Thankfully this turned out to be a wonderful, exciting experience instead of what could have been a nightmare.The movers were GREAT !!! They professionally and quickly wrapped each piece of our furniture as if these pieces were their very own. Everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I will DEFINITELY keep you in mind for the future and recommend EVERYONE to your company.In fact, I have a friend who will move and told her all about your company, so she will let me know when she needs you.It was a hard move since it was a walk-up, but I think we were all happier after we ate some pizza!! :)It was fun and tiring at the same time. I used speedymovers to move me from a fourth floor walk up building. I had packed everything up, but they had to take my bed apart to move it. Even with this extra part of the job, they were fully prepared, had all of their own tool, blankets and tape to protect my belongings and nothing was too much trouble. Pros: Brilliant all round more

Even with this extra part of the job, they were fully prepared, had all of their own tool, blankets and tape to protect my belongings and nothing was too much trouble. \r They really were speedy, i couldn't believe how fast they were up and down the stairs!\r The price was pretty much the cheapest around and they really did work fast! \r I have already recommended them to some friends and would recommend them to more.\r They arrived exactly on time, they made everything so easy and gave me peace of mind that all of my items were safe. these people are very rude. Hang up on you if you ask to many questions. Don't think for a second that you are going to get courteous service. In a day and age where businesses are suffering due to the economy you would think that these small business owners would be doing whatever they have to do to earn your business and hard earned cash. I don't know about you but with me not readily willing to part with my money in the first place...do you think I am going to give it to these people....WRONG! The very next movers I called, that was highly recommended on CitySearch, was courteous, responsive, and I could actually understand them. Guess who got my business? hmmmmm! more
