Best moving service and price! 10/29/2010

I found NYC Manhattan Movers on Google. I was skeptical at first, reading all these reviews and wondered ""really? everyone gives a 5 stars?"" very upset and disappointed by my last relocation experience from another Manhattan moving company just few months before, I was extra careful this time about selecting a trustworthy service providers. Based on these reviews I gave it a try, and now I can tell you that these reviews are all real!! and you should not look anywhere else when you are hiring a moving company. They are polite, professional, and extremely pleasant to dealt with. The company and the moving staff accommodate my specific delivery time, Nathan said he will be here at 10:30 am and he arrived 10:30 am sharp. They put new pads to walk on in my apartment since the carpet is new. They went above and beyond, even hook up the washer and dryer for us. more

We hired this moving company based on our friend's recommendation, he is a real estate broker and has been the company's customer for a while. Using NYC Manhattan Movers was like having a friend move you, however unlike your actual friends these people can actually carry stuff up stairs, are organized and have a truck. I moved with their crew of 3 gentlemen and they showed up on time, stuck to a quoted price of $285 to move all of my stuff and the whole painless process took 3 hours to move my 1 bedroom from Soho to Upper West Side. I would definitely use NYC Movers again and highly recommend their service if you want to make your next move hassle-free. more

I moved from Long Island to Manhattan. When I first came to know that we have to move, I began searching Internet. Surfing the Internet did not offer me any solution as all the Manhattan local moving companies used to tell all the same. It was very difficult to select the right movers. While surfing I came across this company and I opted for quote comparison amongst the company available for that area and I finally selected NYC Manhattan Movers. They made our move very easy and stress-free and our family very happy and we would love to tell people about their excellent service! The price didn't change and nothing was damaged or broken. Best service ever received! 10/21/2010

I had to find a reliable moving company for my last minute move from my old apartment in Manhattan to my new place in West New York, NJ. It took me about 1 hour to check local movers and find this company and it took them 30 minutes to arrive to my place ready to work. The staff was friendly and definitely well prepared and experienced, their foreman Andrew was nice and it was a pleasure to communicate with their Customer service lady Ann. It took our movers about 4 hours to completely pack and move my stuff to new place in NJ and the price was very reasonable, I believe $95 per hour for 3 guys without any hidden charges like travel time etc. is the best deal in Manhattan! Great job guys! 10/11/2010

NYC Manhattan Movers - NY Movers did a great job for me. They moved me from Manhattan to Miami, FL. When I called the office they were more than helpful in making sure I got the information I needed or asked for. Their pricing was great compared to other quotes. When they showed up (on time) they started right in and humped the things that needed to be packed quick and efficiently. They did not drag their feet to prolong the process. In fact we finished well ahead of my expectations by hours. There was no breakage of my belongings either. They wrapped and packed things very well. I had over 15 large pieces of glass from table tops and mirrors that they loaded, moved and unloaded without any problems. They were upbeat and happy to be working. We also had a pick-up at a storage unit. This was no problem and they packed the truck with the stop planned to make unloading quicker. I truly did appreciate the job that they completed.They were on time for pick up and delivery and the price they quoted me was a ""No Excuse Price"". The price did not change. No damage and the guys that packed and moved us were efficent and very friendly. I would highly recommend them. Great job guys! more

Great experience! Wonderful customer service!! I had a couple guys move me from New York City to Hoboken New Jersey on one day's notice. It was a 2 bedroom apartment move, moving me from Manhattan Mini Storage on South Street into long-term storage in Hoboken. They did an amazing job, providing me with all costs before i signed up. I heard good things about NYC Manhattan Movers - NY Movers through a friend who hired this moving company 2 or so years ago for his move from Brentwood Long Island to Yonkers, and I definatelly agreed with my friend at the end. I personally referred them to three more moves in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Great job, guys! Thank you for the moving service provided with personal care! more

These guys are the best New York City movers I have ever used. I have moved about 5 times and have always had at least on issue. NYC Moving Manhattan Movers definitely know the moving business, the crew was on time, fast, friendly, professional and most of all honest, no changing the Rates at the end. more

I really did not expect the move to be this good. As usual I was very worried about the entire moving idea. Nothing seemed to me very pleasing. In fact I used to spent sleepless night thinking about my moving arrangements. I used to call NYC Moving Manhattan Movers and ask various question regarding the service in order to make sure i was heading the right way. As the moving truck drove away ON THE FINAL MOVING DAY, i kept my fingers crossed. i was absolutely sure that they will not damage some thing or the other. And I received all my belongings in one piece without a single scratch. more

Nice and easy moving service 9/13/2010

I don't like 5 star rating unless I rate Miss Universe, but these guys are 100% ABOVE AVERAGE! What we had was a small and unimportant move for these people financially, but I was treated with class the whole way through. Excellent service. Showed up exactly on time in both places, friendly with excellent head office support and communication and substantially cheaper than the other NYC based alternatives. more

I never really write reviews online, but felt compelled to do so this time around. I have used movers before and these guys were probably the best I've used. From my initial conversation with the owner, these guys were professionals! They were fast, efficient, friendly and very careful with our personal belongings and furniture. We had about 90 boxes (more than what we had initially estimated) and they were so patient and took care of them all. We also took their advice of putting everything in boxes. Even though they sold boxes, they suggested that if I had the time to get the boxes at Home Depot to save money. more

Rates are the best in Manhattan 9/10/2010

well i was really impressed with this crew,they worked 5 hours without making a stop, good non-smoking guys who speak English not Hebrew or Greek when You ask them about the move, I mean I do not have any problems with other languages but last time I was moving ( winter 2009) 3 out of 3 movers didn't really understand what i was talking to them,so forget about them, these did. Great service and price, took good care of my move! more

Best moving service! Personal care! 8/28/2010

These guys really saved me. I scheduled my move with No.1 rated on Google Manhattan moving company (who said they are the best?) ,and it was 3 days ago, but in the morning of my moving day I have a phone call, the lady of their customer service told me ""Sorry but we do not have a crew for your move"", goddamn!!! but at least she called me. I made a few phone calls, I really thought I'm gonna have a hard time, but NYC Moving assured me and took my information. My movers arrived at 6 pm, and their foreman Steve told me it's their 4th moving job for today, sir, but do not worry, we will do it! And You know what- they did it! Fast and professional, reliable service and didn't charge me any extra bucks for the last minute scheduled move! wow, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! YOU ARE THE NO.1!!!!! more

Great move with NYC Moving 8/14/2010

Hi, my sister and i needed to move from a small studio located in Manhattan upper west side , so i decide to take a quick look in the new york movers , i read those beautiful reviews and i call them , someone by the name of Erica give me all the info about service and price , of course i called different movers but the customers service by NYC Moving Manhattan Movers was terrific , i took a chance like anything else in life , and let me tell you , those movers are fantastic , strong , polite and very professional , i 'm happy that i made the right choice and will recommend them to the friends i know , thank you again Randy , Sam and Arthur , best of luck and take care! more

I moved my business and family from Manhattan to Selden, Long Island last Sunday through NYC Moving Manhattan Movers and they were thorough and professional throughout the entire moving process. It was a pleasant communication with Jeremy from company's Customer service and the moving crew was incredibly detailed with everything they did. At our origin there was our main residence to be moved and also our office which consisted of 10 cubicles, 12 desks, computer systems, telephones, fax equiptment etc...... These guys came in, packed everything, protected everything and moved it all in 2 days to Long Island. Our move took up most of the 53 foot semi truck so they said it would be a pretty quick delivery and that it was. Really could'nt be happier with the movers and all of my transactions with NYC Moving Manhattan Movers. The final price was just as estimated, they took care of all my belongings and the moving service the company provided was excellent!Good price, nice customer service! Fast, experienced, licensed, insured movers! 7/29/2010

I was very pleased with their service and can't say enough good words about NYC Moving Manhattan Movers that not only moved my 2 bedroom apartment from Upper East Side to Downtown Manhattan on July, 21 but my mother's studio as well. The weather was crazy hot, but they worked without any complaints, they carefully wrapped each piece of furniture up (for free!!!) and did not slow down the move. Mark and his crew were hard workers!! Their office was very helpful calling to make sure everything is going good. They excelled my husband, my mother and mine expectations. I would not only use them again but would highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks guys! You are The Best! Pros: Very polite real gentlemen more
