These movers were great! They arrived right on time, moved super quickly, were very careful with our things, and were friendly and professional as could be. Costs stayed low-- no hidden fees, everything discussed up front and followed through on. We'd actually booked another moving company earlier in the week who never even showed up and these guys were able to come last minute with only 2 hours notice! Highly recommend! more

My experience with NYC Moving Manhattan Movers was great. I am a very nervous person especially when trusting someone with my belongings. However once I spoke with the customer service manager at the office he gave me some reinsurance that I was going the right route. From the moment we spoke he was very poilte and answered all of my questions regarding rates, price, moving service on the spot. I have to mention this because a few other Manhattan moving companies when asked a question would say ""someone will get back to me"". This is what made me really use Manhattan movers. I didnt want to have to worry about anything. I had a crew of 4 movers who worked extremely hard and had to help me pack because I didnt know how to pack certain things. They explained everything to me and explained the additional fee because of them having to pack. They wrapped and packed everything for me and made moving easy for myself. On the delivery side, different crew of men but none the less they were just as great as the crew who helped me in n.y. I plan on moving back to New York and I know which moving company I WILL be using. Thank you again guys. more

Once in Fort Lauderdale Florida, we contacted New York Movers to schedule the delivery of our belongings to our new home. ? Within one day of our requested date, New York Movers arrived. ? Again, we were impressed with the professionalism, speed, and expertise the Fort Lauderdale Florida crew had. ? They even cleaned up the excess boxes and packing material after unloading. ? Within only a couple of hours, all of our our furniture was unloaded, reassembled, and all the boxes were in the appropriate rooms. The most important thing to note was that every single thing arrived undamaged. In conclusion: 1) the crew in both Manhattan and South Florida were extremely professional, efficient, and experts in protecting our belongings. ? 2) The delivery date was flexible. They have free storage at their Florida facility for up to 30 days, so you don't have to stress about racing to be at the destination before the movers arrive. 3) The price was reasonable; in the middle of the spectrum compared with the other estimates we received (i think we had around 6 estimates). The price we were estimated at was the price we paid (except for the tip, which we were more than happy to give). 4) They were very thorough with both the estimate and the packing. I was skeptical at first, reading all these reviews and wondered ""really? everyone gives a 5 stars?"" very upset and disappointed by my last relocation experience from another Manhattan moving company just few months before, I was extra careful this time about selecting a trustworthy service providers. Based on these reviews I gave it a try, and now I can tell you that these reviews are all real!! and you should not look anywhere else when you are hiring a moving company. They are polite, professional, and extremely pleasant to dealt with. The company and the moving staff accommodate my specific delivery time, Nathan said he will be here at 10:30 am and he arrived 10:30 am sharp. They put new pads to walk on in my apartment since the carpet is new. They went above and beyond, even hook up the washer and dryer for us. Moving with this company, from the people in the office to the moving crews, I have had I would say a ""perfect moving experience"" and really am not exaggerated. Best of all, after they picked up the stuff and weighted, my stuff weighted lighter than the quote, and they gave me money back!!!! I would use them again in a heart beat. My company was paying for the service, the $1260 price quote came in under that amount, and I liked the way I was treated and our communication with Janet, so we booked them for our long distance move. Their staff arrived 15 minutes early and loaded our third-floor two-bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. They were very careful with everything, and dealt with care and really well with our furniture. The amount they could haul was amazing! We met them in the city and they sent an extra guy to help with the unload, which made it a lot quicker considering the small elevator. The unload took about 2.5 hours, so the whole day (load, drive, unload) took 12 hours. The guys of NYC Moving Manhattan Movers Co.were very helpful providing us with their excellent moving service last week when we hired them to move our 3 bedroom townhouse from Brooklyn to Staten Island. When I moved from my old apartment to a new place, I used the moving service of NYC Moving Manhattan Movers Moving and Storage company, and it was my first experience moving my furniture with a local mover so I didn't know what to expect. I had heard from some of my friends how many movers are kind and courteous till they take your money and then the work is outsourced to some other company. Well but I had to move so I called the first company that I saw online with a decent number of positive reviews and that was this mover . When I called their Customer Service office they were very friendly and their office manager nice and friendly young lady gave me a price quote that was very accurate. I wasn?t charged extra for anything except $75 for packaging some of my stuff I decided to add. The driver and the movers were at my house on time and my stuff was delivered with no damages and on time. I would be happy to recommend this company to my friends and to anyone planning on moving soon. They packed and wrapped everything with care and the entire move happened to be just a stress-free moving experience! These Manhattan movers were extremely professional, prompt, and fast! They had no problems moving anything and I didn't hear one complaint about anything (I've had that happen with movers in the past). There were even times when I said I'd move something, and they suddenly appeared with a better box to move it in and said ""No problem! We can move it!"" My partner and the moving truck left about a half an hour before I did, and when I got to my new house, they were almost done with the unloading! more

I just moved with NYC Movers from Midtown Manhattan to Fort Lee, NJ. I first want to express how friendly their staff was; their foreman Mike, Chris and the other guy from the company's Customer service his name is Andrew were great. They arrived right on time and went straight to work wrapping my furniture and stacking boxes. They were fast, efficient and very professional and worked with care. This local moving company was recommended to me by a friend who had hired them twice previously and was very pleased. I called the Office and got a very competitive price quote after describing the job. They provided me with what they call an ""All-inclusive, Flat-rate Quote?, you know in the beginning what price you will pay, no ugly surprises. When the guys finished my 2 bedroom move locally I paid $420 including tips, they didn't charge me for a travel time, no fuel taxes whatever and I will definitely call these movers again as well as recommend this moving service provider and consider them one of the Best local moving companies in the area.
