With the help of your moving company, we arrived to Washington on schedule and we were able to vacate our home in Las Vegas on time. Because of the short notice for this move, your rapid and thorough planning from the onset was essential to success. Your crew came ready to work, even with Nevada's record-setting hit. Each furniture piece was blanketed and the rugs were fully enclosed to prevent damage. We appreciate that the crew handled each item carefully, as if thy were their own. Just as we spoke over the phone I just wanted to say thanks again. Your customer service was amazing. Al did a fantastic job with the move. As I had explained before, I was a little nervous about using movers because it was my frist time not doing it myself and most of my furniture was fragile or made of glass. I couldn't have asked for a smoother move. It was very quick and efficient nothing broken, scratched or missing. The only way it would have been better is if it was free! I just wanted to thank you guys for the amazing service. My move was fairly big and on short notice, but you handled it extremely well. Jorge, Erik and Louise are three of the nicest guys you could meet. They were so patient and thorough while packing and loading our belongings. Jorge and Louise delivered everything and were careful to put each box in the right room as well as moving each piece of furniture carefully. Thanks again for taking a lot of the pressure off me while moving. I will recommend you to everyone more

The transfer of possessions across the US was completed satisfactorily. The men who executed the physical move did a job and all efforts were appreciated at the receiving end of the move. The load arrived in fine condition and the men worked very hard and with good speed to see that everything arrived safely. I needed a mover to get me out of "Sin City". I had been here for 2 years and it was just not for me or my family. Long story, but the economy the way it is, I lost my house due to a foreclosure. And I was given a 30 Day notice from the bank.The next day I went through the phone book and called just about all the companies, At one point I came across New Planet's add and I called, a nice young girl Lori answered and was very helpful. We went through the details of my move, and she based my rate on the weight and inventory that I gave her. I have a 4 bedroom home (well I had), I was concerned with my belongings and their safety. So before booking with any company, I did alot of research. They're recommended by the B B B in Vegas, and even though there were a few complaints,they were all resolved, when it came down to it their reputation was great with the DOT as well. There were other companies that were trying to charge by cubic feet, found out that is a lie, it MUST be done by weight (via the DOT). And it was done this way at New Planet Moving And Storage. So I booked my move. The movers arrived , packed all of my belongings very well, and at the packing rate quoted. Upon delivery they re-asembled my furniture, & placed all of my items in the proper place. The inventory that I originally gave them came to a weight of only 5500 lbs, when It went to the scale it came out to 6000lbs. So I did have additional charges. The reason I am writing this is I must admit I knew I had a few extra boxes, and I hadn't sold my dining set as I had planned. But never the less I was a little doubtful at first, But then the inventory that the movers made, showed I had many more items too.. Even still I asked Joe in dispatch if they would reweigh it upon delivery so that I could go to the station my self (Still doubtful), and he agreed. When it came to 6500lbs and I was only charged at 6000lbs, you can imagine that I was very, very thankful that they had given me the extra 500 lbs off. more

I have moved many times during my military career and by far the experience I had with New Planet Moving and Storage was the best.? more

I recently moved from one side of the counry to the other. I was extremely nervous. To my surprise I was really stressing over nothing. The moving co took care of everything. They were also reasonable. I used New Planet Moving & Storage. They were excellent!! From my initail phone call to my delivery of my items, and every single person in between I came across, were very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. I do not plan on moving anytime soon. However, if/when I do, I will be contacting them again. Gret job, New Planet!! Thank you.? more
