I remember the first time I went in - my partner had told me that it had a grocery store in the back. I had assumed until then that they were like a GNC. This was before they made ""Natural Grocers"" a prominent part of their name. At the time (this was several years ago) I had not yet embraced organic and whole foods. I remember thinking it was too small and quaint for my tastes. I did like their natural beauty section though! I've really changed since then. Now I will wait until they open to go without or go for coffee cream rather than King Sooper which is a little easier to get to. I have come to absolutely embrace the smaller store with the quiet lights - instead of wasting hours and money and ending up with a headache - I go, I know what I want, I don't buy more than I need, the experience is friendly, and yes, I have confidence that what I buy is the best available. Thank you VC for doing the work for me so I can get back to living. And we've found that we actually spend less every week which is counterintuitive being that most things are organic. I really think it is because we are buying more whole foods and cooking more. I also take advantage of their markdowns in fruit and dairy. Also their natural paper products and pet foods are less expensive. It's funny - we had eagerly anticipated the Sunflower Farmers Market to open in our area - but now that it is we only went a few times. Much too crowded and again, the feeling there is a lot of bait and switch - we always spend too much money on things we didn't really need or go in for. VC is an awesome little store (and so are others we've been to in the area). Thanks for helping us meet our goals of simplifying our life so we can get back to doing what we enjoy...living our life!
Pros: Always parking around side or back, Markdowns, Simple Choices, Healthy Choices
Cons: When it's busy other customers can be just as rude as in a bigger store shoving you aside
