Worst

Sharks are sick and dying.

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/8/2013

One of the best acquariums. And I have been to quite a few. On the pricier side but it seems all acquariums are fairly expensive. I am sure the cost to maintain is very high. The dolphin show was excellent although short. more

Love the aquarium, but parking is expensive 2/6/2012

I took my kids to the aquarium last week and was shocked to see how much tickets + parking would cost for the day. Instead of parking in the garage, I used parkingpanda[dot]com to rent a parking space in the area for the day. It was pretty easy to use and saved me some money. Hope this helps! more

Don't miss when in Baltimore 1/14/2011

Our 7 and 12 year old loved it. It was nice to see the excitement in their faces while they came across a creature that was new to them. I heard about the jelly exhibit from a co-worker and it ended up being one of our favorites. The 4-D theatre was good too. And of course, we made a trip to the gift shop to buy something that will remind the kids of their trip. more

Great aquarium albeit a bit pricey 9/16/2006

While this isn't my absolute favorite aquarium (Long Beach), it is definitely in the top five. The displays could be a little bit larger in a few areas and the biggest complaint I had is that many of their attractions have animals displayed that should be in the tank but half of them are missing. And there's not a single jellyfish in the whole place...what's up with that?\r \r Otherwise, the newest attractions of frogs and Australia are highly recommended as is the large Ray / Shark displays. Pros: Some good new displays Cons: Bit pricey and some displays could be bigger more

AWESOME VISIT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 6/12/2005

By far the best Aquarium. You will love the dolphin show PLAY! It's included with admission & it alone is worth the price of the aquarium. Try to by your tickets ahead of time rather then pay to double park in the area as you are given a timed ticked. Ticketmaster offers these but call them in. If you buy in advance you can pick your time & go as early as possible to avoid crowding at the aquarium. Pay close attention to what it says is the best time to go on their web site cause it will get crowded! The sites more then compensate for any waiting that you may have to do. There is no way I could every say enough about the exhibits as they are ALL AWESOME! Definitly going back! HATS OFF! AAA+++ Plan for 4 hours to enjoy! Pros: Dolphin Show PLAY, Price is worth it, The WHOLE thing Cons: NONE Absolutly NONE more

Great for everyone! 8/7/2002

Everyone will be intrigued by the aquarium. It is a great family spot, and it is a nice place to take that special someone in your life. more

Crowded, but classic 8/6/2002

I try to take a road trip up to Baltimore every couple of years, just to visit the aquarium. I agree with other reviewers that the crowds get crazy--I highly recommend getting there as early as possible. Don't miss the gorgeous sting ray tank, or the huge shark tank--or the rainforest, which provides a nice escape from the other visitors. Pros: Amazing exhibits Cons: Very crowded, Expensive more

A Lazy Afternoon Under the Sea 7/23/2002

This is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon after having lunch in the Inner Harbor. Not something you'll want to do again and again (and with the price not worth it) but definitely should be done at least once. Pros: Stingray pool, Location Cons: Needs more space!!!! more

super great 7/22/2002

I live in Texas but have relatives in Maryland so, of course they recommended the Aquarium to us. I was probably around 11 the first time I went there. I tried to think I was too cool for everything. But, I was very impressed with everything they had there. When, Corpus Christi announced they were going to build an aquarium modeled after the one in Baltimore I was so excited. Then, totally let down! I have since gotten married and visited with my husband and son. it is just an unforgettable place. The indoor rainfprest is VERy impressive! Pros: great entrance system, lots to do, clean & kid friendly Cons: what cons? more
