This was the first Japanese restaurant I went to as a kid, so I tend to compare all other Japanese steakhouses to my experiences at Mt. Fuji. I would definitely recommend making reservations b/c without them you're unlikely to get a table. The food is outstanding and the hibachi chef has always been entertaining and funny. I usually get the chicken & veggies, but the whole meal comes with soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, meat of choice, lots of vegetables and dessert. For the amount of food you get and the entertainment not usually offered wth dinner, it's well worth the price. Recommended for big groups or a romantic evening for 2. Also kid-friendly. I will always be a devout Mt. Fuji goer, it is amazing every time I go. If there is a wait for the sushi bar, I will wait and be patient because it is very much worth it. Don has a fabulous and amazing memory of your name and what you like.etc...these days it is a rarity to find such wonderful and sincere customer service. If you are looking or craving some fine sushi, Don's is simply the best. I dine there very frequently and it is consistently fresh and exciting. Don has different specials each time and they are all so tasty. The coffee jello dessert is also amazing! Whenever I need a sushi fix, I drive all the way from downtown to Marietta. Yes - I head outside the Perimeter! I've been visiting this restaurant since my college days. The sushi is ALWAYS fresh and melts in your mouth. Whether you are new to sushi (come on - even Kroger and Publix sells sushi now) to someone who is jaded about the whole sushi scene - you must go. Most of the time I just leave my sushi selection to the sushi chef. I have never been disaapointed by the quality and creativity of the items. The yellowtail sashimi is like buttah!
