For a great environment where employees value their customers and your visit will always be enjoyable go to moodswings. i love going because whenever i am done with my visit i leave a satisfied customer whether i am getting my hair done or just buying some nature friendly aveda products. suzie more

best wax ever 3/13/2005

I was looking for a valley salon that did brazillian bikini waxing and stumbled across Mood Swings. The aesthetician there made what could potentially be a horrific experience as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this salon. Pros: atmosphere, skill, fair prices more

Amazing Front Desk Staff 3/8/2005

I couldnt have asked for a better experience. It started when i walked through the door and was greeted by the receptionist. she was warm and friendly! i am from the midwest and since i have been out here i have been out here the service at salons was less than perfect. in scottsdale they were very snobby and highly over rated. but mood swings provided great service, affordable prices, and great staff. i now recommend this to all my friends. Outstanding Experience 2/21/2005

I was in the market for a new hair stylist and I was very nervous considering I had been going to the same one for 6 years. I need something new, fresh, hip, and fun. So I did my research and found Mood Swings. From the time I called to make an appointment to the time I left (absolutely loving my hair by the way) the experience was wonderful. Everyone is so friendly, laid back, and just made me feel right at home. And don't forget... the hair was fabulous!!! more

I'm not sure if the other salons I've been to were all garbage or if I just really hit the jackpot. I recently went to MoodSwings over the holidays after reading about them in one of my magazines and then seeing all their positive reviews online- i felt it was worth a try. I got some waxing done in one of their newly remodled rooms and was so impressed by the girls knowledge about waxing and other skin care issues- I bought my friend a gift certificate and will definitley get my next hair color done their as well. It is so nice to go to a salon where all the employees speak so highly of eachother. what a great environment to be in. Pros: punctual, friendly, knowledgeable more

Great experience 9/28/2004

I recently moved to the Phoenix area and was referred to Mood Swings by a coworker. I was so pleased w/ my haircut and the stylist had a lot of great suggestions for my "in between style". She was very personable. I also had my brows done and was more than pleased- they are perfect and not too thin, the girl really listened to me. Thank you Mood Swings! more

I have to say, I am so impressed. I went to Mood Swings on a referral from a friend. I live in Scottsdale so I was not thrilled with the drive. However once I was there my attitude changed. The front desk staff is so helpful, they even got me tea. I saw Kelly for a "rejuvination facial" and was blown away. The treatment was so relaxing and she had so much extra knowledge to share with me. THe best facial I have had in a long time. I have since been back for waxing services and am a very satisfied customer. I would recommend this salon to anyone. Pros: great service, knowledgable staff, fair prices more

Amazing 3/9/2004

I am soo impressed by the way my hair was done at this place. Not only did they do a wonderful job on my hair, the service was amazing. They got me a tea when I came in, the gave me water, and while I was getting my hair done, I didn't get one hand massage, but two! It was amzing, the atmosphere is very friendly, and the cuztomer service is excellent. more

Excellent! 12/25/2003

I wandered in to Mood Swings on a whim one Saturday last summer and inquired if they had any openings. 15 minutes later I was sitting getting my complementary scalp massage. I left with a fabulous hair cut that was perfect for my short, thick, almost wavy, almost curly hair. Everyone was super nice, the atmosphere is a combination of relaxing and energizing and the products and service are excellent. Even though I live a good hour away I still come over regularly. I'm extremely picky about my brows and Brazilian, but all worries vanished after seeing their esthetician. She was quick and thorough with my Brazilian. I felt very comfortable with her. Every time I come to this place I have an awesome time -- great cut and color, my head gets massaged and hands too! The people who work there always are friendly and professional and I really like the way they make me feel -- comfortable. NO ATTITUDES!!!
