I received the suit and shirts today and am very pleased. I looked the order over very carefully, and the workmanship and details of construction are beautifully done. I compared it to a shirt and suit I own and of course there is no comparison. And the fit is great especially for someone who is 6'3"" and is used to things being a bit short somewhere. If I were the guy from the Dos Equis commercial, I'd say "I don't normally buy custom-tailored shirts, but when I do, I go to Mohan's". But I'm neither the World's Most Interesting Man nor a cool older actor who pretends to be. I do, however, like to have dress shirts that fit and look great. Mohan's helps me do that.\r \r I've gone several times now, and each time, I have had an excellent experience. The store is beautifully laid out, and, as a customer you get the "I'm special feeling just walking in". More than that, though, the guys at Mohan's know exactly what they're doing and will make sure you are 100% happy before you leave. more

The primary man in charge, Michael, is very attentive to detail and delivered an extremely well fitting suit with a modern fit while still maintaining a level of conservativeness that I was looking for. High Quality Clothing! 9/10/2012

Any man that cares about building a high quality wardrobe needs to sit down with Mohan's at least once. These guys make the experience of picking and designing custom suits and shirts a lot of fun without breaking the bank. This includes everything from the experience of being in the showroom to the consultative approach their knowledgeable sales staff offers to the high quality products delivered. Mohan's provides its clients terrific value, and I highly recommend them. more

World Class Experience! 8/24/2012

I recently walked into Mohan's just to browse for wedding attire and I came out with an order of 8 beautiful custom made tuxedos for me and the wedding party. I am extremely happy with how they look and am ready for my big day which is 1 week away. My brother and the other guys look amazing and look very sharp. I strongly recommend that you stop by Mohan's to view their wedding tuxedos as well as their wide range of fabrics and brands. I've bought many suits from Mohan's including recently a navy chalk stripe that I needed for a few client meetings. The fit is always perfect, and the detailing spot on. Plus, the quality is great, I have shirts and suits that I bought years ago that look like new. A+. more

Let me begin by saying that Mohan's is one of the finer establishments that I've been to, in New York and beyond. I am from New York and have been buying Ralph Lauren Black Label Suits for years. When I got to New York, I stumbled upon Mohan's Custom Tailors and I haven't bought another type of suit since. Without fail, every single time I wear one of my Mohan's suits compliments are given as freely as candy at Halloween.\r \r The staff is warm, personable and very knowledgable. The range of fabrics is vast and varied, and their construction is of the highest quality. The master tailor actually hangs out on site! The fit is impeccable: as stylish as you a suit can possibly be, but never at the expense of comfort and functionality. All of my suits have held up perfectly and remain good as new even though I wear them all the time.\r \r They keep your sizing and patterns on file, so repeat ordering is completely hassle free. Nice Dress Shirts! 5/10/2012

I had an amazing experience at Mohan's! Being a tall and slim guy, it's always a pain for me to find dress shirts that properly fit me. Either they fit my torso correctly but are short in the arms and tight around the neck, OR the neck and arms are just right but the shirt is billowy in the chest. Life is hard...\r \r Enter Mike and his wonderful staff at Mohan's! After receiving a gift certificate for a dress shirt, I made an appointment with KJ. He did a great job of guiding me through all the options that come with each dress shirt, and helped me pick out fabrics that would compliment my existing wardrobe. A few weeks later my shirts arrived and were a perfect fit. I'm not lying when I say that I have NEVER looked better in a dress shirt. Having a shirt that fits me perfectly is such a relief, and I can't wait to go back! more

I've used Mohan's for shirts, suits, a tuxedo, and an overcoat - all of the items turned out absolutely great. Their products are of very good quality, provide for virtually limitless customization, and present a very high level of value. On top of that, Mike and his dedicated team is very knowledgeable about current trends and adept at interpreting your own style, along with being very pleasant to work with (by far the best experience I've had with any other tailor, shirt maker, etc.).\r \r Main reasons that I use Mohan's:\r 1. Customer service level is as good as it gets.\r 2. Product is of high quality and in-house tailoring allows for any alteration to be made in a timely manner\r 3. Pricing is very good relative to other shops. I also like that everything is generally included vs. other shops that charge for working button holes, stitching, etc.. more

Great custom suit! 4/28/2012

Got my first custom suit. I will admit, I came to Mohan's not knowing too much about how the process works. But these guys made it easy and fun. I went in thinking the worst, but came out a happy customer. Mike and his wonderful staff took the time to suggest to me what would be great with my body type and pick a fabric that will not only be versatile for parties, but also for client meetings. I highly recommend these guys. Great Work! more

My husband had a three piece blue pinstripe suit made here for our wedding. It's his favorite suit now. It fits perfectly. Mike and KJ did a wonderful job. My husband will be back to have more suits made! more

No more off the rack shirts or suits! 3/31/2012

I've never been happy with off-the-rack shirts, in terms of fit or selection. Hugo Boss slimfit were the best fit I could find, but were over $100 and limited in fabrics/patterns. I started getting shirts made through Mohan's over 2 years ago and haven't bought anywhere else since. He has made me at least 12 shirts and one suit. They are better quality and custom fit, with hundreds of fabrics to choose from and several customization options. I've had many coworkers ask where I get my dress shirts, as well as comments on my 'going-out' weekend versions that are a bit more flashy. My $100+ department store shirts sit in the back of my closet now. more

David Goldstein is a terrible individual!! Please disregard his negative reviews. I made this customer a suit and shirt for his wedding and he called me each week to check up on the progress of his order. I repeatedly assured him that he had nothing to worry about. 10 hours before his wedding, I called him (he doesn't even have the courtesy to come on the phone) and his wife said she won't pay for the order. She openly admitted that making this purchase was her mistake and called Amex to get a refund. I held my anger and expressed my dissatisfaction in the most professional manner. Then he came on the phone and ended up insulting me and my ethnicity. Not only did he refuse to accept the suit, he insulted me. He lacks decency and social courtesy. I would avoid this unethical waste of a human being and all customers like him! You can go and buy overpriced, crappy tailored suits elsewhere. There are many other places. more

Very Poor Workmanship 2/14/2012

Bought 3 suits and 12 shirts 6 months ago and I'm very disappointed in the quality. The suits inseams are all falling apart and the shirts have shrunk so much that they don't fit anymore ! I recommend you go elsewhere please. more
