You may see the signs for this place along the freeway and think about stopping for a quick meal. Keep on going - do NOT bother! This place serves nothing but grease, and lukewarm at that. The service is surly and the carpet and menus look as if they could really use an encounter with some good cleaning products. The one time I ate here, I had to send my glass back because it had lipstick marks on it. Gross! more

Good Service, Good Food, but kind of slow 9/16/2005

I went to Mitzel's on my way up to Canada, and came here to grab a quick bit to eat. Sadly, that quick bit to eat took about 2 hours. The service here at Mitzel's is great, but it is kind of slow. It takes forever for you to get your order and forever for you to get your food. However, when the food does come, it's wonderful and it's also served with a smile by the waitresses. Everything is high tech here, orders are taken on a PDA, which is highly impressive because in many restaurants in California we don't even have that. The service may be slow, but it is nontheless very good because the waitresses are kind and polite. The food here is good, and the portions are reasonable! more
