I generally expect a little bit of BS when I have to deal with mechanics, but these guys really take the cake. They have had my car for over a week and every day that I call they tell me it will be ready “tomorrow”. They can’t even tell me for sure what the actual problem is after all this time. If you don’t have a 2nd car or someone to drive you around for 7 to 10 days, be prepared to shell out a big chunk of money for a rental car because these guys will take their sweet time fixing your car. I am very unhappy about their lack of professionalism and I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL. I’m having my car towed someplace else TODAY. Mr. Transmission = Liars, dishonest, rip-off, slow, incompetent. more

don't take your car to this place. service is horrible and you won't even be sure that your transmission will be fixed. I wish I would have never found this place, I guess you get what you pay for. it might sound like they know what there talking about but do not trust them. more

I see a lot of people have had great experiences. Well I hate to be the guy that gets screwed over like I did... but they over charged me for the motor and labor and could not give me the exact prices on anything. They couldn't give me an itemized reciept neither. The guy I talked to was Scott, a manager there. He lied to me since day one. He said they had a location near me in League City and implied that is where my truck was being taken. No, it was towed an hour away, to Spring, TX. To put the rebuilt motor in, it cost me $2700. That is a $1300-$1450 motor by the way. Regular Vortac 350 Silverado engine if you would like to confirm. I asked for the price of the motor itself and the extras to find where the $2700 came from and he said the motor was $1800 and the labor was $600. Apparently that comes to $2700 some how. more

"Thank you so much for all the you did to see to it that we got what we paid for in having Mr. Transmission fix our car. I am so thankful that you felt it more important to see to it that I was satisfied with the money spent rather than just passing the buck. It is so few and far between that we are able to experience customer service on the level that you provided. Having another mechanic look at the misfire issue, re-evaluating the work already performed, offering to pay for a rental car should we need one. All things that we will not soon forget! I look forward to working with you sometime in the DISTANT future, but want you to know that Mr. Transmission is my go to shop for any transmission issues in the future! Thank you so much!" more

Towing was free and the service was completed quickly. My cost was below the original quote. The process was handled professionally. I felt in good hands with Alex and he surpassed his promises. I will continue to use them and highly recommend them to my friends an clients. more
