I had my birthday party there last week! it's great! All of my friends really enjoy it! I have been there since they opened... but i feel they do the better now for the sushi, kit...

Worst

The food was ok, but the place was cheesy. I felt like I was stuck in the 80's with the whole hibachi cook theme going. Not only that, we were treated to a fabulous strobe light...

Erased again 8/15/2009

This will get erased again because they complain but I will keep writing it. I was there about 2yrs ago and was not impressed with the prices and how clean this place is. To add insult to injury I was charged an extra $100 when I accidently left my wallet. I came back an hour later searching for it and my credit card was out of place. I have heard stuff like this happen before here and im not impressed. I do have a fraud report I made with HPD so anyone doubting this I do have proof. Also 5 months ago I drive by and several asian men are fighting outside and 6 HPD units showed up. What kind of place is this right in the middle of the elite Tanglewood area. Fantastic Sushi in town 11/18/2008

I had my birthday party there last week! it's great! All of my friends really enjoy it! I have been there since they opened... but i feel they do the better now for the sushi, kitchen food... sushi chef made a special sushi combo plater for my birthday, the decor of the sushi plate is fantastic... and the fish is so fresh... more

Cheesy 6/1/2008

The food was ok, but the place was cheesy. I felt like I was stuck in the 80's with the whole hibachi cook theme going. Not only that, we were treated to a fabulous strobe light show (which came from the fan hood). I thought I was at a rockets game when the lights dimmed. It was quite entertaining actually. Great customer service 3/2/2007

Went here for lunch the other day with a group of co-workers and had an awesome experience! The hibachi style cooking was wonderful. The server/chef was great! Very entertaining and energetic. Took a little longer for lunch then it would have to just order the food from the menu, but it was well worth it! Prices are also great. Very reasonable for lunch! more

Quick & Fresh 9/4/2006

I was in a hurry to get home, but had a craving for sushi. I had never been to Mikado until yesterday and the sushi was great! I had a spicy tuna roll and a crazy roll, both were excellent. The price was very reasonable and the employees were friendly and curtious. I will go back soon! Pros: Quick service, fresh sushi more

I have been several times, and the food is always fresh. The staff is very nice and prompt. I will come again for sure. I usually order the California rolls. I give this place two thumbs up, as I usually rush in, order and take my food back to the office, and they have always been very fast to get my order out. Great semi-casual sushi place 5/24/2005

I love the scorpion roll and the volcano rolls. The 2 together are aesthetically pleasing and sufficient for a meal. The lunch sashimi plate is good and more than you can eat. The pieces are rather large (as is the american-style sushi) but very tasty. A nice menu. Perfect for lunch or a semi-nice dinner. The prices are great, too. more

Great place for groups! 11/4/2004

Great food, very fresh! Reasonable prices and a great place to take a group! The service was so-so. The waitresses were not friendly or very attentive. They need to work on their customer service skills, other than that, food was delicious! You get a lot for what you pay for, better than Mikayos! Pros: inexpensive, good parking, atmosphere more

Excellent 6/26/2004

The first time I tried sushi was at this fab place. I've been a very satisfied customer ever since. The service always exceeds our expectations. My favorite roll has got to be the crunch roll! It's a must try. I've been to several other sushi places, but they are nowhere near as good as Mikado. Pros: Excellent service, Superb Sushi, Great drinks Cons: , N/A, N/A more

I live across the street and get Mikado to go at least once a week. They are alway courteous and my order is always ready in 15 minutes or less. Great sushi and great value! more

Superb! 1/15/2003

As a sushi afficianado, I've sampled the best from N.Y. to S.F., and I've never had a culinary treat like I did tonight! The ambience is so-so, the ""staple"" orders are wonderful and the service is fine, but, without exception, try the Mikado roll - a fresh plethora of fish, rolled in cucumber and served over shaved ice a side of special dipping sauce! I'm going back tomorrow night and ordering a glass of wine and 3 Mikado rolls! You should too! Pros: Mikado Roll!, Inexpensive, Friendly service Cons: Seaweed salad more
