Do not use this marina.
The marina bathroom and laundry facilities are rarely cleaned, without heat or air-conditioning, filthy and loaded with insects.
The docks and piers are literally falling into the water, and several people have fallen in because of loose and broken boards. There is no snow/ice removal in winter, making it very DANGEROUS.
There is NO SHIP STORE, sodas are hot, no snacks or boat gear - rarely is ice for sale. There is NO ""new"" Office and NO ""night"" SECURITY or cameras. No one is quite sure of who the actual employees are (questionable at best).
The entrance gate is antiquated and often open at odd hours, and theft has been a problem. Pump out service is not Coast Guard compliant; the Fuel Dock is overpriced and dangerous as well.
Power is also a MAJOR problem. NO 50AMP or 30AMP service is provided to a majority of the slips, management will NOT fix ongoing electrical problems and there are NO ACCURATE METERS. Water service is turned off around November and may or may not be turned on as late as May. Management also arbitrarily changes slip rates, power bills(.12/KW hr / .16/KW hr peak times) and other fees as they see fit without notice to slip holders.
Do yourself, Maryland and the environment a favor and do not support this business or marina.
