I am very unhappy with Michigan Fence. I had starting working with them in early October and they finally installed the fence in late November. I turned on my sprinklers this year, only to realize they have busted the water line in 2 places. I called to see if they can come repair them, and they said they are not responsible. Other companies have come out to the area and resolved this same issue with my neighbors. \r \r This is a new subdivision and many fences are going up, I will not recommend this company to any of the new neighbors. more

If your sales person is Bill everything he tells you isn't true, I don't even think he mentally lives on this planet. The workers left garbage all over our lawn and did the job of a 2 year old. We were told the whole process would take 2 weeks, but it took two months as they kept coming up with excuses. The fence keeps bowing and my dogs get out and the neighbors cats get in! No matter how good the price seems DON'T use this place!!!!! It will only give you a huge headache and a crappy fence in the end! Pros: Decent Price Cons: EVERYTHING! more

Very professional employees and an excellent installation. Very good communication about what we had to do to prepare our yard. Also by far the most affordable out of three different estimates. more

Guess what they haven't fixed the fence yet!! They came out here to look at the job (for the 5th time), they know what to do, they agreed to put tensile wire in and move the fence back. We told them when this is done and keeps our dogs out--job done to our satisfaction they will ge paid. They said they couldn' keep digging dogs out. The dog wouldn't get under the fence if they would of properly secured it in the first place ..it takes an easy fix, I did research. Why do people put up fences-to keep animals and kids in right? What happens if the fence you paid almost $3000 for doesn't do that--it's USELESS. Plus they denied that the salesman mentioned possibly trenching to get the fence in the ground (keep dogs in). My husband told them bu#lSh&t and the owner called my husband a useless piece of s#it, and an as&hole. Then proceeded to tell me that my husband swore at them first. We have been around and around with them. We are frustrated and mad, they have wasted so much of our time! We are the customer-we paid them we are MAD!! Anyway, who talks to customer like that? Unbelieveable. They can come out and put the tensile wire in and move the fence back to the property line--but guess what they aren't getting their money. The owner said that they really need to resolve the issue because they really need the money (us to pay). Well guess what they can pay a lawyer because they are not getting one dime for us. Why? Verbal abuse! more

WOW Mark we had about the same experience. We have been fighting with them for over 11 months to come and lower our fence that they put up last June. We have a sloped yard our salesman -Bill said that "wouldn't be a problem AND would keep the dog in the yard". Not only is our dog getting out, animals can get in! Not only did they come twice to lower the gate-4 inches+ above the ground, they didn't put the fence on the property line (5 inches away from back markers). THe back fencing is over a sewer hole, so there is a 3 inches gap from that and the fence. what a bunch of idiots. Go somewhere else and do not bother with these people. Cons: bad fence job more

I can't believe that someone heard from the owner of this company! We asked, begged, demanded to talk to the owner. Hell we would have been happy to talk to a supervisor. But it seems as if there is no one in charge of the crappy business. Looks like they are going to have to take us to court to get the rest of their money. I just don't believe that we should pay the full price when they did not do a full and complete job as promised. They say we agreed to pay a set price. Well, they also agreed to do a good job! They didn't live up to their promises so why should we pay full price for a job that was not done correctly? They do a great job selling their service to you and making promises. They just have a hard time doing the job they sold. And customer service? Once you pay the deposit you are treated like you are worthless. No care or concern about the quality of the job and the satisfaction of the customer. Pros: Price Cons: Get what you pay for more
