Mi Hacienda

Bueautifull place, the food is great with an authentic mexican menu section with dishes like beef tounge tacos and ceviche or carnitas marinated with beer and tequila "very tasty" flan is made from scratch and white sauce for the chips is like no other restaurant its what keeps us going there more

I've been to Mi Hacienda a few times before only because my friend liked it so much but i always thought there was room for improvement on such a beautifull restaurant so I wasnt a regular customer but that has changed. I am in there almost twise a week now I love the new menu it has all the traditional favorites and some new items like my new additction of choripollo, I have to recomend this dish to any one who visits Mi Hacienda. If your wondering waht it is well... I dont even know how to descrive it but it is grilled chicken breast with a cheese sause and chorizo (a Mexican Sausage that is hard to descrive the taste but it is delicius). another change was that the service was better with new faces working there, I asked our waiter if there was a change in owner ship but he didnt know because he was new, but he did say there was new management wich would probably explain the much better service lately, the only drawback is waiting in line to pay at the register. finaly I would very much recomend the choripollo to every one out there again you'll get hooked Pros: lots of new services Cons: does not opne until noon on sunday more

I gave this another after two years. I am familiar with both locations. When they first opened up for business, they were good. But my revisiting was horrible. This restaurant is located on Midlothian Tnpk. I have not been to the one on Hull St. The only negative thing I have to say is, the service is not great. It's not BAD, but not that great. Everything else, the food, the set-up, the nice decor, is wonderful. My co-workers and I frequent there for lunch time and time again. The food is always hot (so is the plate!) and we leave the restaurant will full bellies. I don't dine out much, but Mi Hacienda is my favorite mexican restaurant. more

I have been to this restaurant and gotten good service and good food for the money. I have also been there when they weren't busy yet it took forever to get a seat, the food was cold and awful, when it finally did come. It took forever to get the check. And even longer to pay. This is not acceptable on my lunch break. The last time I was there, my "black bean soup" looked like beans in water with cottage cheese on top. YUK! Service and food are too spotty. Mi Hacienda always has good food, good service and great atmosphere. Especially good for those who don't like mole sauce on everything on the menu, and for those who like a spicy ranch base dip in addition to the traditional salsa type dip. Pros: Inexpensive, great drinks, good food more
