We chose Michael Pallares, from Metro Realty, as our buyer's agent because he had excellent reviews. And he more than lived up to the expectations.\r
\r
As other reviewers have mentioned, Michael is incredibly responsive, and he knows all the steps of the home buying process back and forth and will explain to you any details you want.\r

With Michael Pallares you not only get a real estate agent, but a first-rate real estate *team*. We did our shopping at the beginning, but at some point we decided to simply follow Michael’s recommendations (lender, attorney, inspection, even contractors after closing), and we’ve been extremely satisfied.\r

Michael Pallares has outstanding communication skills. You will notice soon that he has a gift for conversation, but his gift to listen, and to understand your unspoken reactions is even greater. We always appreciated and weighed in his advice, but we also appreciated the fact that he would let *us* make the decisions and set the pace.\r

Just to give you an idea of whose interests Michael Pallares has in mind (yours or his), here is part of our story. The negotiation for our apartment got stalled at some point. We had made our last offer; Michael had originally suggested a higher final offer, but he realized we were reluctant, and he didn’t insist, even though that could have “sweetened” the deal. The deal seemed to be broken that evening, and we were ready to walk away. The sellers called the next day, to say they would take our offer. Michael called to let us know, and said: ""I told the sellers' agent that my recommendation would be that you go and see this other unit that has similar characteristics and that just dropped the price yesterday, before getting back to the sellers with a decision."" And that’s what we did, but we didn’t like that other unit as much. So we called Michael, and told him we wanted to move forward, and everything worked out well from there. But we really appreciated the fact that Michael was ready to put that offer behind, and start all over again, had that been our choice.\r
