Mesquite Rodeo 11/5/2005

What an experience - they had something for everyone. It was a fun event - all indoors and air conditoned! They get the whole crowd involved in the music and in the events they have for kids out in the arena. The event is well planned and the comentator keeps your intrest in all the details he provides. A definite must to visit. more

Entertainment 10/11/2005

The Mesquite Rodeo is the premiere place to go to see first class bullriding, bronco busting, cutting horse competitions, barrel racing and more. Situated just off Interestate 635 in Mesquite, the arena is kept cool on those hot steamy Texas summer nights and comfortable on those chillier nights. Plenty of activities for the little ones. Rodeo officials have gone the extra mile to make sure your evening is fun for the entire family. The food is great at the rodeo--but is a distant second to the incredible entertainment this venue officers. Parking is easy and convenient. Put your boots on, grab your cowboy hat and high tail it to Mesquite. It'll put the kick back in your Texas Two Step. more

Ya'll Come! 8/12/2005

Modern and conviently located, the Mesquite Championship Rodeo is located right off 635 and Millitary/Sceyne. It's giant arena is domed AND air conditioned. (A Texas MUST) Children are encouraged to come and participate in the Justin Mutton Bustin' Event where kiddoe try to stay on the back of sheep for 6 seconds and also the more familiar Calf Scramble where they chase a calf, trying to get the ribbon off its tail. There are professional adult events too. Bullriding, team roping and well ...everything you'd expect at a rodeo. Including beer! The rodeo season runs from April through Sept with the doors opening at 6:30. more

This place is great. My wife and kids love to go see the Rodeo here. They are broadcast live on the Nashville Network as well. They have pony rides for the kids and a kiddie korral. The price is very reasonable and we will definately be going back here again. more
