Modern and conviently located, the Mesquite Championship Rodeo is located right off 635 and Millitary/Sceyne. It's giant arena is domed AND air conditioned. (A Texas MUST)
Children are encouraged to come and participate in the Justin Mutton Bustin' Event where kiddoe try to stay on the back of sheep for 6 seconds and also the more familiar Calf Scramble where they chase a calf, trying to get the ribbon off its tail.
There are professional adult events too. Bullriding, team roping and well ...everything you'd expect at a rodeo. Including beer!
The rodeo season runs from April through Sept with the doors opening at 6:30.
