Meineke Car Care Centers Inc

I came in for an oil change, the girl behind the desk told me they were too busy, but I did not see any vehicles being worked on. The only people I saw that worked there was 1 mechanic and the 1 girl behind the desk. The mechanic was hanging out in the office and not in the shop working or being too busy for anything. I didn't see anyone smoking but the place smelled like weed!! I'm glad they were too lazy to do an oil change because I don't want people who are lazy and/or possibly stoned touching the vehicle that I trust with my life!! If you like your vehicle and want good customer service that doesn't make you uncomfortable, please do not do business here. This place used to be great a while back. There was a different girl and 2 different mechanics there, those people were professional, but they are gone now and so is the business in my opinion. more

Called saturday morning and asked about appointment times for an oil change. They told us to come right away and they would give us an 10am appointment. Rushed there only to wait 2 hours for an oil change. The waiting area only had four seats and I should have been more suspicious when we walked in and there were 5 people in the waiting area. No apologies were made. Poor service overall. I would not recommend. more

My experiences with this particular Meineke have been nothing but wonderful. I've been driving an old beat up car for many years, and every time I take her in for a tune-up (or even a broken engine mount) I've been extremely impressed with the service I've gotten. They are priced fairly and more than willing to explain problems to me. My repairs are done speedily, and I generally have no problems getting my car in the same day I call. more

Even being part of a huge chain, this Meineke has the feel of a local mechanic. Everyone in the office is very nice and very low-pressure. You'll never get a call saying they found something else wrong and it's going to cost you $300 to fix it (unless you actually do have something horribly wrong). They do their job, care about your business, and are straightforward with even the least knowledgeable customers. They also have a mechanic on staff who is a 6-year veteran of Saturn, which happens to be my make of car. more
