Mega Mattress

Although the salesman I had was courteous and friendly, I was surprised to learn -- after the fact -- that this store has NO COMFORT GUARANTEE. Therefore, I would recommend shopping at other stores before this one, especially if you would like the security of knowing your mega-bucks purchase is comfortable and good for you. Also: take your time trying mattresses, and remember that the ones in the store are much softer because many people have worn them in. The bed I purchased seemed fine in the store. But the one I got -- after 3 weeks -- is still very uncomfortable to sleep on. I didn't spend over $1,000 to wake up with tingling arms and shoulders. I am told there is no structural problem with the bed, so I'm stuck with it. Blah. more

My husband and I just received our new Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe king set from Mega Mattress. We shopped around and while there is no discounting on these mattresses the product knowledge and low pressure atmosphere at Mega Mattress was totally refreshing.\r I was totally satisfied with their service and would higjly reccomend them. We will buy from them again when we need to purchase mattresses in the future. more

This is in response to a submission attributed to Danille W. I have spoken to our sales staff and delivery staff and no one remembers this matter. It is implausible that anyone in our company would handle a customer in such a manner. Mega Mattress does not deliver the wrong merchandise nor do we use expletives when communicating with customers. I am at a loss to explain this matter but invite Danielle to contact us via email using the info@megamattress.com email address. Our delivery staff regularly wins accolades for our service and is fully equiped regarding tools, etc. We have been doing business in this area since May of 2003 and have never had an unresiolved issue with the customer, BBB or state attorney generals office. I have purchased several beds from this company over the last 5 years, and it has always been a pleasent experience. The sales staff is not pushy, and didnt try to sell me the most expensive bed in the store.. My wife and i purchaced a king size bed 3 years ago, and recently a single size bed for my grandson, and a queen for our spare room. We got a great deal, and still love our bed. We told the sales person what our budget was, and he found a bed to fit our needs and price. I wonder if the comment above was ment for the store across the street with a similar name. We have sent friends and family there, and they all have been treated in the same courteous and professional manner we were. Most recently my daughter and her husband who are both in the navy purchased a queen size bed there and were given a amazing deal as a military discount. I would recomend Mega mattress to anyone looking for a quality bed at a resonable price. more

Probably the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had with ANY service/purchase...EVER!! Horrible customer service, horrible product, horrible manners of every individual after the purchase that was NOT what I purchased and was promised. Insulting, rude, condescending, arrogant and flat out lies to the customer. A dollar spent in that store (be it Saratoga or Greenwich) is a dollar you have over spent!! I was promised that the gentlemen who were to deliver my mattress were going to have ALL the necessary tools to attach my headboard to my bed frame and bring with them the extenders to make the headboard fit a queen, as it was a double. When the gentlemen arrived, they said that the guys at the store always promise that and that they did not come equipped with any of the necessary tools to do that, I would have to do without.
