I don’t usually leave negative reviews for businesses, but I feel I have no choice this time.\r \r I have been a customer of MCOR for the past 4 or so years, and have had several vehicles serviced (window tinting and entertainment installations) in this time. I recently took my vehicle for window tinting and requested a specific darkness for my tint. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, the tint was much lighter than I’d requested, and there were bubbles on the windows. I was told the tint would darken and the bubbles should go away.\r \r Several days later (and no change) I called and asked that these things be corrected. After spending $300 originally, you’d think that they’d stand behind their work. No, at first they told me I’d need to spend $200 more (to correct their mistakes). I spoke directly with Matt, the owner, and he would not agree to correct the issue and kept calling me “dear” in a patronizing tone. \r \r Needless to say, I’ll never return nor will I refer any more business to MCOR. This was a costly “lesson” for sure! more

This was to have been my third car with them, but it wasn't and never will be again.\r \r Car 1: I dropped it off when scheduled, and called the night before to ensure it was done before I made the 40 minute commute to pick it up. Being my birthday I brought my son with me to pick up my new car, with plans to follow up with lunch. Dropped off at 10 am I expected to have plenty of time to get out by noon, even if there was a little touch up. I didn't leave the shop until 4 PM, an entire SIX HOURS in their waiting room! No lunch, no offers of food, no communication AT ALL, and no time with my son (other than watching their TV). There were numerous problems.\r \r Car 2:They did a decent job on a new Dodge for my kid, but there were still flaws in the tint that shouldn't have been there for $600. Why did I go back this time? Because they were closer than their competition to where I live.\r \r Car 3:We bought a new SL 63 on a lark and needed the Passport 9500ci moved to the new vehicle. No problem I think, MCOR's web site says: \r \r ""We are the ONLY local one stop shop solution for the car dealership's accessory sales and installation needs.....We also provide door-to-door service with most products installed right at the dealership. Our turn around time is second to none, and our 6 day a week service schedule has ZERO competition.""; So, I had the dealer call them to have them come to the dealership and knock it out. Would you be surprised to know that they said no? After they complained that they couldn't do it outside the dealer even offered them two bays. Then the problem was that they didn't have their tools (really? a set of screwdrivers and a wire stripper?). They also wouldn't come get either car, and were scheduling out a week. That doesn't sound ANYTHING like their description, does it?\r \r Ok, the dealer's valet and I shlepped two vehicles over to them and dropped off the old car for removal of the radar detector. No, no dollar estimate of the cost, and we can't take your payment now, but we will get it done as soon as we can. This turned out to be the next day.\r \r When they called to tell me it was done they wanted my credit card number, but we don't use one any more (to get out of debt). I offered to mail a check that would have time to get to them, be deposited, and clear the bank before they would even see me again. I also asked them to order the new interface for the detector to the Mercedes. In the mean time they would have my $2000 radar detector in trust and, besides, I had been there before. They were also expecting me to entrust a new $160,000 car to them. No problems, right? \r \r Wrong! No deal they said, although they would take cash. Ok, I reply, I will bring it when I drop off the new car and pay for it in full. Still not good enough! I had to yet again make a trip to MCOR, wasting two more hours of my time, to give them cash before they would give the old car back to the dealer. Remember the dealer? That's the one that they supposedly have a relationship with and take care of. Anyway, that was enough that I paid and took the pieces to another installer who was very happy to order the part I requested and hold it until I came for install. BTW, the one I used tells me that MCOR charged double for the removal what they would have charged me. \r \r Listen guys, if you can't order a $500 part for whatever wholesale is and salvage yourself a $3000+ deal, you have problems. If you feel that charging me double is good business, well......I guess you need the money more than I do.\r \r This place is not a discount joint, even if they act like it.\r \r Yes, it was my fault. Like the abused spouse that just can't stay away, I went back. Don't make the same mistake I did. more

Great shop, great value. I spent a little more than I originally budgeted for window tint, but I upgraded to the 3M window tint. I could not have been happier. I can't believe how much cooler my STS is now! My only regret-I didn't do this earlier!!! Thanks for the service. more

Very unprofessional, Very Unorganized and very disappointed with service. After taking my vehicle in to get a quote...(they will sweet talk you) and giving down payment....for about one month I never got a call back to let me know when they were ready to start work. NOW...I keeping getting the excuse that they had a thief working with them and lost the supply and now they don't want to give me my money back (they say its been to long). more

Suprised MCOR is in our neighborhood! 7/24/2008

I have watched this company grow over the years from a little car lot to a full-blown custom accessory shop (they still sell cars also-however the inventory is all custom now!). I have been coming to them since day one and when you meet the owner, you quickly understand why they grew so big, so fast. \r \r The owner Matt and his employees are young and energetic and used to work in a big new car dealership. They are absolutely professional and their work has always been perfect and fast. I have had MANY personal vehicles and company vehicles taken care of by them. From weekly detailing, window tinting (they even did my business storefront and my lake house-NICE), full electronics installations (fleet of 20 work trucks!), etc they have truly become my one-stop shop. They seem to service everyone in the neighborhood anymore and they are good guys.\r \r The only downfall is that whereas I used to be able to come in whenever I needed something done on the spot, they are SO BUSY (hint hint) that even I now have to set an appointment. However, they have still kept their prices very reasonable, their work is still perfect, and it is still a pleasure to do business with them. \r \r I even saw them on Bay News 9 in their new commercial yesterday-I can't believe they have gone this big. I love the place and I always will keep coming back. Keep up the good work guys-just remember the neighborhood and you roots-best of luck!\r \r Jeff Verbile-Verbile Paving INC.\r jverbile@verbilepaving. net more
