I've had Better for the price 3/24/2010

I ordered a medium well steak, which came well done, and dry, no veggie selection, the blue crab cake was good but, way too small for their high prices. This is a sea food restaurant so when i ordered the calamari, they came to my table with calamari rings, not the real thing. There's better food at Ruth Chris right next door. Pros: I like the area, and the view of thw harbor. more

the oyster stew was actually a spinach and leek, really good, but should have been called spinach and leek stew, as 2 oyster were fihgting with themself in the middle of the plate! the main dish was ok, but the duck was served with fried squid, that did not have much taste and I was disapoointed to great fired food in a resrtaurant that is supposed to cook! plus I really did not see why sauid would go with duck, instead of a nicely cooked side... overall I think it's not that fine and play a little on the menu titles more than on the quality of the food. more

Great view and great food 6/26/2009

The food is excellent. Definitely try their calamari appetizer. Their Maker's Mark mojito is very good too. Everyone I was with loved what they ordered, from the salmon to the crab to the steamed oysters.....even the pork chops. And, right on the Inner Harbor, you can't beat the location. Very Impressed! 7/18/2007

I went with a bunch of family members for my grandmother's birthday, and none of us were disappointed. The steaks were cooked to what everyone ordered. The fish is fantastic. The waiter was very knowledgable. We were also seated at a big window with a view of the Harbor, and it was great. Pros: Fish, seafood, service, ambience Cons: Parking in a garage for $8 to eat. more

Way overpriced 7/10/2007

The portions at this resturant have got to be the smallest i've seen. One guest ordered jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer. The shrimp were indeed huge so I ordered shrimp stuffed figuring I would get a couple of nice stuffed shrimp.wrong! For $26.80 I got in a small bowl 4 med. sized shrimp covered with imperial crab.All of the guests in a party of 14 joked about the size of the portions . Also the steak on crab and steak entre is very small as well. This restaurant is in my opinion very overpriced for what you recieve. Won't be back more

What's all the hoopla? 10/3/2005

My husband and I went here for my birthday. I had been told how great the food was. My steak was good but my husband ordered fried shrimp and said they were the worst he had eaten. There was no choice or veggies, you took the veggie of the day. No salad unless you paid extra and the waiter could have cared less if we needed anything at all. When I had a question about the wine list, he made me feel as if I was lower class for asking such a question. He was rude. The prices are outrageous. Never again. Very nice place 2/28/2005

The service was really nice especially for a Friday night. I ordered medium-well steak and came as I ordered it. I was very impressed! Both my girlfriends also loved thier food and the desert was very good. Loved it. A little noisy and waiters rushing through isles, making it look a little too busy and chaotic, but all in all, good experience. Pros: good food, waterfront, prompt seating Cons: a little too noisy, waiter traffic more

Don't Miss Out 2/13/2003

I'd have to say that this place has it all. The bar staff was overly friendly. Especially the handsome duo of Steve and John. They seemed to love their job almost as much as they love each other. They really turned it up a notch when they started making their famous ""Governor's Mansion"" drink. Be sure to get a hold of one of those if your ever in Baltimore. The dining was delightful as the stout, overly excited server Steve charmed us with his New York style humor. Cheers to all who made that night wonderful. Pros: Exotic Drinks, Really cheap parking, Fancy napkins Cons: No hot bread, dirty bathrooms, no dancing more

Our standby 11/14/2002

McCormick & Schmick's on Baltimore's inner harbor is where I always take the wife for special occassions and we absolutely love it. One word of caution though: we ordered an amaretto sour at the bar and the bartender made it fresh and delicious; but when we ordered another at the table he obviously used sweet & sour mix instead of fresh squeezed lime. Pros: fish selection, drinks at the bar, dessert more
