Mayuri Indial Cuisine

Again on our visit to Len's daughter in California we had to have a third Indian meal. All four of us just love curry. We went to Mayuri around 6.00 p.m. and were amazed that apart from us there was only one other table in use. Our server was very polite and brought us all water. Len had diet soda as well. We took our time with the extensive menu. As always Len went for the chicken curry, and his daughter decided on a vegetable curry. She asked if she could have mushrooms as the main ingredient and that was fine. I went with the lamb curry and Len's son-in-law went with the hot chicken curry, his daughter also ordered a vegetable dish too. The curries all were around $9.95. Out came large portions of curry with 2 baskets of naan bread. Everything was wonderful and we all took a spoon and tried each others curry. The mushroom one was really great. We had eaten about two thirds of our meals and the server came over and asked if we wanted boxes. We said we were resting. We ended up clearing the whole table of food. That shows a great meal. Mayuri Indian Cuisine is located on El Camino Real, in Santa Clara. There was plenty of parking outside the restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone use to Indian food. Remember it is hot and spicy. more

Wednesday night, Mayuri offers a wonderful dinner buffet. It is chef's choice, so the offerings are different every time. This is good for the variety but bad if you fall in love with a particular dish. I found a lot of the food to be much to spicy for me, but I have a very low tolerance. more

I go to Mayuri sometimes with my co-workers. The place offers both north and south indian food in buffet. The variety is not much. But all the dishes offered are prepared nicely. The food tastes good and if your favorite foods are in the buffet, you come out very satisfied. They also have a big hall that they rent out for parties. My friend hosted her son's birthday party there and it was very cost-effective. She was happy with the place. more

I loved the food so much. Their North Indian dishes were spectacular, but the South Indian could use some help. Sam, the owner, was very helpful in finalizing the menu for the banquet party. It was an amazing experience. more

Mayuri Indian cuisine is good restaurant around santa clara area with both veg and non veg food. I like kadai paneer alot as its blend with varieties of spices. There is no waiting time food is also served at reasonable amount of time. worth a try.Good customer Serivce and good place. more
