Again on our visit to Len's daughter in California we had to have a third Indian meal. All four of us just love curry.
We went to Mayuri around 6.00 p.m. and were amazed that apart from us there was only one other table in use.
Our server was very polite and brought us all water. Len had diet soda as well.
We took our time with the extensive menu. As always Len went for the chicken curry, and his daughter decided on a vegetable curry. She asked if she could have mushrooms as the main ingredient and that was fine. I went with the lamb curry and Len's son-in-law went with the hot chicken curry, his daughter also ordered a vegetable dish too. The curries all were around $9.95.
Out came large portions of curry with 2 baskets of naan bread.
Everything was wonderful and we all took a spoon and tried each others curry. The mushroom one was really great.
We had eaten about two thirds of our meals and the server came over and asked if we wanted boxes. We said we were resting. We ended up clearing the whole table of food. That shows a great meal.
Mayuri Indian Cuisine is located on El Camino Real, in Santa Clara. There was plenty of parking outside the restaurant.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone use to Indian food. Remember it is hot and spicy.
