Maxx Auto Recovery

these guys came in at three in the morning and stole my car on a saturday. I needed my car on sunday and they weren't even open. the guy that answered was a a@#hole and the whole premise of towing cars in private apartments without even a warning is totally awful. if you are an apartment complex looking for parking lot enforcement you should try giving out warning with your own staff and maybe stickers on the window the first time after that it's cool if you tow it. all in all not something that helps society. 305 dollars to get my car. wtf? 60 extra dollars to pick it up on a sunday? parking lot robbery. $3.91 a mile! 160 dollar hookup fee and a 27 dollar pick up fee? further more to the other review that was wrote that was saying they were so polite and all that, well if that review wasn't wrote by maxx recovery service then my car is probably still outside. these a#@holes love their jobs stealing cars legally for a living and charging way to much to pick them up. I hope karma deals with these guys appropriately. Pros: free tow half way across america! Cons: Really expensive pick up fee and a bunch of other b.s. I could go on all day! more

I must admit that I test the waters and park illegally more often than I should. I was towed....of course I was angry but I still had to get my car back. When I went to Maxx, I was surprised that they were extremely efficient. I tried to negotiate out of fees and was unable too, however the people were much nicer to me than in my past experience. In fact the staff made me laugh. I know that they must have people yell at them all day long, but when it was my turn, they were pleasant and professional. Thanks! Pros: Easy to work with more

This company towed my legally parked car. The guy towing my vehicle extorted money from me under threat. I am going to file a criminal case against this company. more

This company is renowned for illegally towing vehicles. Thier employees are rude. I would never ever recommened these people to anyone. Cons: EVERYTHING more

We had our car towed completly illegally! They had a ""illegall monitor"" watching a parking lot after hours and towed our car. Not only that, but our car was brand new..and they scratched the front end when they dropped it!! They argued about it and refused to pay. The paint on the scratch flaked off right in front of them, and they still refused to pay. I have met quite a few people who dislike this company. YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE!! HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Pros: NOTHING!! Cons: Everything more
