BEST MASSAGE EVER! 11/22/2010

Old Metairie Location. Best massage ever! ASIA is my therapist. I have to say, I was a little bit concerned at first for several reasons... #1 - a massage in a strip mall? how good could it be? #2 - only $39?... there must be a catch? #3 - ""Massage Envy"" name, I was thinking French Quarter/happy ending type of place. #4 - I got a female therapist...would she be strong enough to work out my knots? HOWEVER....It was a AMAZING Experience! My therapist is ASIA...I like the pressure really hard. She is really good, she likes her job (which is important), and she even works on a SAINTS player. Massage Envy is completely professional...they are actually a chain and have very strict rules... I love their plan... $59/month (includes 1 massage) and $39/hour massage after that for the month. It could not get any better...I now go once a week and feel like a million bucks! again...ASIA is great! more

Massage Therapists were good...Policy sucks! 7/4/2010

The massage therapists that we've had were good. They do a thorough job of manipulating your muscles to relieve the tension, although (of course) some of them are better at it than others. The problem is the Massage Envy membership policy. If you sign up, you're automatically locked into a one-year membership. If you have to cancel if you lose your job or have an emergency, then you're stuck with it. They will freeze your account for a few months, but that also extends your obligation. The only way out for a financial hardship is to pay out the full balance of your membership. So...if you fall into a hard spot, you have to shell out $708 for the 12 months or $1,296 if you have 1 family member or friend signed up under your policy too. Your membership will be cancelled, but you'll have paid all of that money to not get massages that you've already paid for. Pros: excellent customer service, great therapist more

Stay away from uptown location! 1/4/2010

I had an appointment for a massage and was expecting a call to confirm (since this is their policy). I never received a call. When I arrived at the appointment late, the manager told me that not only would I not get a massage, but that she was charging the full amount of a massage on my credit card anyway. The manager was completely unsympathetic and would not take any responsibility for not having called to confirm. Pros: ? Cons: horrible customer service more
