RUDE,UNPROFESSIONALMy mother is 69 years old. She is a proud vegan, and had been for 15 years. My mother went into Martino's on Vine 11/09/12 to order her favorite vegan pizza. This not her first time eating there, she has been there a lot My mother orders a Vegan/vegetable pizza with Garlic sauce. Her order was ready, trusting the company from her previous purchases, she didnt open the pizza until she reached home. the pizza, it was dry and had no garlic sauce and the tomato made the crust all soggy. My mother contact the company and they began to swear and our profanity to my mother stating that their pizza was baked correctly. My Mother, was offended by the customer service, so she decide to just return the whole pizza. the store the slaMmed her change on the counter and began to use more profanity telling her to never shop there again. She left crying and very upset. My mother is 69 year old retired kindergarten teacher. If a customer doesnt like a product that a company;/business produces, she has the right as an customer to express that and be refunded. She should have not been slandered and disrepected nor humilulated. We will be looking into a Class-action Lawsuit against this company. more

Very disappointing 2/13/2010

We have been going to Martino's On Vine for years. Tonight we discovered our favorite restaurant was a thing of the past. Our orders were not correct and were sent back and still wrong. The temperature in the restaurant felt to be 55-60 degrees with cold air blowing on us. We requested to speak to the manager and he apologized for everything and said he would take care of it. After about 20 minutes the waitress brought us our check with the full balance as well as another couple's appetizer who was also dining with us on our check. We just paid and left with no plans to ever return again. I understand now why there were very few customers. This use to be a wonderful restaurant. more

Best Pizza in Cincinnati 10/6/2009

Even though I?m a browns fan, and this is a Steeler joint. I am new to Cincinnati and consider myself a pizza connoisseur. I have to say this is one of my favorite pizza places I have ever been to! Other Italian dishes are also very good, along with the Hoagies. But if you want a burger or something like it I would suggest going elsewhere. Pros: Pizza, Stromboli, italian dishes Cons: burgers, Steeler stuff (browns fan) more

Martinos is a dump 9/10/2009

The place is not friendly if you are ""a regular"". There is some secret system of who can sit or stand where. And somehow the management doesn't let you stand in open floorspace if you don't have a reservation for that spot. What is amazing is that they don't help you find a place to sit or stand. Just don't stand there???? more

Martino's Restaurant 5/22/2007

Parking was no problem. The waitress were nice enough. The food was terrible. The pizza was burnt and the wings were slimy with bland sauce. Not to mention that I saw a big rodent run across the floor toward the back by the kitchen. I informed the manager and he looked at me like I was lying to him. I didn't make a scene, I took my family and we paid the bill and left. There are plenty of holes in the wall like this in the downtown area, but this one was dirty and disgusting with an obvious rodent problem. Please avoid at all cost unless you don't mind that. Pros: A place to eat Cons: Rodent problem more

Simply The Best! 7/8/2006

The food is fantastic! The portions are gigantic! The staff is friendly and courteous. What more could one ask for. This is simply a great place. Pros: Quality of food and portion size...you'll never leave hungry! more

Price was the best thing 8/4/2004

The average food was nothing to rave about (especially the burned pizza), but the price was right. Our party of four escaped for a total under twenty dollars. However, the waitress acted annoyed with us when we asked to be given the federal employee discount and showed our identification (not a good idea if you want return customers). Also, the meal took much longer than expected - we left the restaurant over an hour after arriving! I wasn't very impressed, and I'm not adding Martino's on my list of lunch favorites. The whole experience was less than satisfying. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: , lack of parking, burned pizza more

Is Pittsburgh rude? 6/13/2002

Apparently this restaurants is supposed to exemplify everything that's Pittsburgh, if that title suggests rudeness and bad service then I'd say that this restaurant has that to offer and much more. The portions are large sized but be sure to request that the pizza you get not be burned and the crust not be dripping with oil unless you like it that way. The service was lousy (was in a party of 4 that was left unattended for 20 minutes, finally had to have someone walk to the back of the restaurant to get the waitresses attention). more
