I, like many others, bought a coupon for this bakery through Living Social. While I understand they sold many of these coupons at once, it was almost impossible to get in touch with them; I couldn't even leave a message for them because the voicemail was full. For a week. When I was finally able to get in touch with someone, the woman who answered the phone just said, ""hello?"" prompting me to ask, ""is this a bakery?"" She assured me it was and told me she would call me right back. Two hours later I tried again. This time someone else answered the phone and again it was, ""hello?"" These should have been my first clues to avoid this place. Eventually it turns out they don't even have a storefront. It seems it might just be someone doing this out of their house.
Anyway, come delivery day, the delivery man called me about 5 times, always saying he was almost there when he was clearly extremely lost. When he handed over the cupcakes, most of the frosting was melted and sliding off the cupcakes. Others had been smashed against the sides of the container. They looked terrible and I was embarrassed to bring them to the party I had bought them for.
As for the taste, they weren't too bad, but they were nothing like other ""gourmet' cupcakes I've had. They were very small, a bit dry, and boring. For $25 a dozen, they are way too overpriced.
If you bought a coupon from Living Social, I highly recommend asking for a refund.
Pros: Free Delivery (though late)
Cons: Cupcakes, Late Delivery, Lack of Response/Communication
