I had seen a dentist in Raleigh for seven years who seemed to treat me more like a collection of teeth than as a person. I saw him about every six months for general cleanings and was told that everything was fine.\r
I don't think he ever spent more than two minutes with me at each of these appointments. Because I was\r
interested in some cosmetic work for my front teeth, I decided to try Dr. Andrews. My past dentist told me that he really focussed on fillings and cleanings and that he really didn't feel comfortable addressing cosmetic challenges. The first visit I had with Dr. Andrews was unlike anything I had ever experienced. He took the time to get to know me as a person, did the most thorough exam I ever had, and most importantly, took high quality digital photographs of my teeth that enabled me to see my teeth as never before. After he reviewed my x-rays, we sat down together and studied the pictures he had taken. He took quite a bit of time to explain some of my dental issues which included decay, gum recession, broken fillings, and wear of my teeth. The wear and discoloration of my teeth made me look about ten years older than I am. He carefully explained my treatment options and we agreed on a plan. He recently completed work on my front teeth which included veneers and all porcelain crowns. He was able to add length to my teeth which had worn--and it looked not only beautiful, but perfectly natural as well. He really takes his time and is truly a perfectionist. I couldn't be more happy with his work. His work is not cheap, but I believe it is well worth it because the results he achieved for me are virtually perfection. I don't think you could find a better man or a more competant dentist anywhere.
Pros: painless, he is an artist
Cons: his fees are probably higher than an average dentist, but he is worth it
