Top Notch Mani-Pedis! 7/8/2009

Writeon1 must have been having a really bad day, or she did not go into the same Mani-Pedi in Cherry Creek that I did. I've never been ""ordered"" to walk to the sink to wash my hands but after having soaked them, I have been asked to walk over to the sink and rinse them. The staff has always been very very nice and friendly to me-even on my first visit-which is what kept me coming back. The complimentary back massage while sitting at the dryer is a great finish and Debbie is a mani-pedi rockstar! Pros: Great service, clean salon, fair prices, free parking more

awesome pedicure, very friendly 3/16/2009

I respectfully disagree. I had a great experience my first time there. And in my opinion, you normally shouldn't get your nails done by the owner or manager. A friend of mine recommended this place to me, so I decided to try it out. She also told me to make an appointment because it can get crowded on the weekends. I went in last sunday. It was quite warm and sunny, and a little crowded as predicted. Tram, or Tran(?), came highly recommended by my friend, so I made an appointment with her. She was very nice and quite professional. I got a manicure and pedicure for $50, which I thought was very reasonable for the area. Well, I think $50 would be good anywhere...? Not sure about that part. I recommend making an appointment if you decide to go, especially if it's saturday or sunday. Pros: professional, yet relaxing Cons: sometimes busy/crowded more

Really subpar 12/10/2008

I was a walk-in this past Saturday afternoon and had to wait maybe 10 minutes for the owner/manager to give a manicure, which was fine. The place was filled with regulars, who were treated very well by this woman but I had an entirely different experience with her. First, instead of soaking my nails at the table, like every other woman was doing, she ordered me to walk over to the sink and wash my hands. It was embarrassing and strange to have to walk all the way across the salon to do that when no one else had to. Secondly, she didn't even give me a real manicure. She didn't trim any hang nails or deal with the cuticle. She simply rubbed some cheap lotion on my forearms and hands, slapped on the polish I'd chosen and a top coat and didn't even ask me if I liked it. She also asked for payment upfront. In retrospect, I shouldn't have tipped her. She put me at the drying counter when we were done and never checked on me again. Another technician had to come over and tell me I was finished. The manicure was very poorly executed, the polish is already peeling and I did not feel pampered at all. I definitely won't be going back to mani pedi. Pros: Location Cons: Service, Value, overall bad treatment of this customer more
