Amazing 10/24/2011

I had my Lasik approx 8 years ago with Dr. Niksarli and had a great experience. The next day I could see 100%. About 1 year later, I had cut my eye with a leaf (not Dr. Niksarli's fault) and I went to Dr Niksarli not knowing who else to go to- and he fixed it with no charge! . Pros: null Cons: null more

my life altering experience 10/19/2011

From start to finish, I felt I was in good hands. I've been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old, and don't know any other way of life besides that, as a result I was very nervous coming in to the procedure. The technician I was paired with immediately made me feel comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable in all questions with a smile. The procedure was very interesting, lots going on, but you can't feel anything. 10 minutes later, I was finished. I went home woke up the next day and was able to see perfectly, to go from waking up every day for 27 years with vision as blurry as it comes,to waking up seeing clearer than when I wore my glasses, it truly was a life altering experience. I couldn't be happier with my experience and will recommend it to everyone who has impaired vision. more

excellent experience 10/5/2011

I am a very busy person, dosen't have too much for the procedure. I was be able to recieved my free consulation and had my procedure done on the same day. All the staff was very supportive and procedure itself was painless and very fast. I had an excellent experience from start to finish at a very affordable price. I give them 5 starts! more

Excellent service and professional doctors. A++ 9/16/2011

Went in for a consultation on Sept 01, 2011 and scheduled for my surgery on Sept 08, 2011. The staff were very nice and helpful with my questions. They were very professional and I was confident with them taking measurements of my eye with their high-tech optical machines. On the day of the surgery I was told to come in at 2:30 for a 3:30 surgery but I didn't do my surgery until 5:00 but that's okay cause that means they are being more careful and prepared, so I don't mind waiting as long as they get things done perfectly. Then I went into the surgery room and they gave me a teddy bear to hold on to which was pretty thoughtful of them. The surgery lasted like 1 minute per eye but no pain and was done very quickly and skillfully by Dr. Niksarli. So far so good my eyes can finally see. more

I had my Lasik surgery done last week and I felt very well informed and comfortable with going forward with the procedure. The staff was great and well verse on the procedure and reassued me on going forward with the procedure. more

great experience with mlc 9/9/2011

Experience was great. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I felt very comfortable from consultation through recovery. The Doctor walked me through what to expect before, during and after the procedure. I would highly recommend anyonw who is considering lasik to come here for a consultation, and if they are candidate, to come to Manhattan Lasik Center for a great experience. By the way, I can't believe this is 24 hrs after surgery and i wrote this without glasses! more

friendly but professional 9/8/2011

Couple things I like about Manhattan Lasik center. Everyone was so kind and helpful, honest and professional at the same time. Everyone I spoke to from receptionist at my initial visit ( free consultion) to the surgeon was patient with me, answered all my questions thouroughly, until I was complete satistied. Everyone ws freindly; service was awesome. I didnt feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. The place is immaculatte. I will definitly recommend to friends and family. more

I feel great 8/29/2011

I feel great. A world without glasses and contacts is a clear and colorful and bright world. I've been wearing glasses for over 20 years and I actually couldn't imagine not wearing them. But I don't wear them now. The staff was very professional and caring. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The doctor is wonderful and professional. I am so grad I had this procedure and definitely plan on recommending others in the future. more

It is amazing! 8/9/2011

I can't express how amazing it is to wake up and have perfect vision without glasses or contacts. I used to walk around the house without glasses just because I found them annoying and would rather just deal with the blurriness. Now, I see perfectly after surgery.\r From start to finish all staff has been friendly and compassionate and helpful. They were more than willing to answer all questions and concerns even repeatedly. Dr. Niksarli was also very approachable and friendly. Throughout the surgery he put my mind to ease by explaining each step of the process he went along. I being able to speak withactual patients in the office about their procedure and out comes. All had the same response: It is amazing! more

amazing doctor 7/26/2011

My Lasik procedure was a painless and quick process. My doctor was amazing, he was very good at talking me through the whole surgery and explaining everything that was going on. I think he deserves the recognition in the practice. The staff was friendly . I knew exactly what was going to happen, because they constantly kept me informed and updated. Also, the office was very beautiful. I def. had a great experience, I am very happy with the results. And I am happy to have my Lasik surgery here. more

great experience with MLC staff 7/25/2011

My operation was done yesterday. The experience with the staff at Manhattan Lasik Center was great. The operation itself was very quick, possibly 15 minutes or less and did not hurt at all. Only after procedure was done that I felt a little discomfort but about five to six hours later I was able to open my eyes and see everything clearly. more

I really like the experience, the doctor and the staff. Everybodywas really helpful and whenever I have any questions they answered them. Even during the surgery, Dr. Niksarli answered all my questions during the procedure and told me what the next step was going to be and what I was going to expect. The whole procedure was very fast and calm, Dr. Niksarli also helped me by saying " good job" amd " you're doing great" which really helped me. Thank you to Dr. Niksarli and the staff for they have done for me. more

Wonderful 7/12/2011

My experience with Manhattan Lasik Center was wonderful. Everyone I met was so great with answering all my questions, comforting me when I was nervous ( which any uneasyness was totally unnecessary! ) The Scheduling availability was also amazing - It seemed that they always had appointments that fit my schedule, Unlike most doctor. I interacted with many of the staff and I don't know how one office was able to staff itself with so many amazing people. The procedure itself was quick and easy and I felt no pain! That night after the procedure there was a mild irritation ( the sort that makes you want to rub your eye - But no pain what so ever ) Then like a miracle I woke up the next morning and could see 100% clearly. I've had glasses since I was in 4th grade - so there's no way to explain how miracuious seeing without glasses or contacts felt. There is notthing I could complain about and I was always hyper-critical. I am certaintly going to recommend Manhattan Lasik Center to all of my friends and anyone I meet! more

VIP treament 7/11/2011

I feel privileged of finding the Lasik Center to have this surgery. The second I came out of the elevator I felt like an Important human begin not just another patient. Dr. Niksarli showed true professionalism. During the surgery he explain what was going to happen and how it was going to feel, and personaly that made me really comfortable. I LOVE IT 7/9/2011

All the staff at Manhattan Lasik Center were amazing. I've never met so many nice people at once. They went out if their way to make me feel comfortable both before, during and after the procedire. I felt like I was with firends. The procedure itself was quick and painless. I knew what to expect because the doctor narrated everyhing to me before he did it. He want reassured me everthing was going to perfectly and I felt confidentin his ability. Afterward, I went home and had slight discomfort with tearing, but from my conversations with the staff, I knew this was normal I woke up the next day pain free and with my vision markedly improved. more

No more glasses 7/6/2011

I just had my surgery late yesterday. I was nervous and l admit , a little scared. The staff made me fell so comfortable the whole time i was here. Everyone has been so nice during whole experience. As I was told I had a little discomfort last night, but the staff had prepaired me and I knew that it was going to be quick and easy. more
