Great Lasik Experience 12/1/2010

I started wearing glasses when I was 10 years old, but did not wear them regularly. I suffered from headaches for years. When I was 23, I decided to try contacts. Contacts irritated my eyes and were not comfortable. I decided to try glasses full-time and wore them for 3 years. more

I am happy with my result 11/19/2010

The staff is wonderful and caring from my initial consultation up until surgery data and post-op. The actual procedure was pretty simple. From a patient's point of view. I only felt pressure during the first part and after that it was great. I was able to return to work the very next morning. I am very, very happy and satisfied with the results so far. The staff is wonderful, no complaints what so ever. I will recommend it to my friends. more

The experience here was very pleasant and soothing. The staff was extremely accommodating, providing direct answers to every question asked. Each procedure was done professionally while keeping the atmosphere calm and relaxed, including myself. more

Excellent Teamwork 11/10/2010

I just had my LASIK surgery there a few days ago. The staff there was very kind and informative. Everyone tool their time with me and it felt like everyone truly cared. I like the fact that every test/exam was repeated and double checked for my safety. The staff kept asking me how I felt, If I was nervous or scared. It was a very comfortable feeling having everyone ask me how I was feeling. The doctor was amazing. You can tell when a professional is doing a procedure on you. Dr. Niksarli was beyond amazing and truly professional, he has magical hands. I want to thank evey staff in Manhattan Lasik Center for all their help and for giving me my vision back. more

I must say that I had a fantastic experience at the Manhattan Lasik Center. The entire staff (especially Toni) was very friendly and helpful through the whole process. Everything that was being done was explained step-by-step so I felt very comfortable. (Having the stuffed animal to hold helped too.) more

I had Lasik surgery last week at Manhattan Lasik Center. The staff treated me with the utmost professionalism and respect. I felt extremely comfortable in making a decision that will impact my life in many ways. The efficiency in which Manhattan Lasik Center conducts its business is truly extraordivary. They also do not lose sight of the personal touch and human element when educating and aduring patients in making a difficult choice. Life in HD 10/29/2010

Yesterday I arrived feeling nervous and a little doubtful, but as time went on I felt confident that I will be able to see. I overheard patients saying what a wonderful procedure, the staff members were so polite and professional, and the doctor and staff answered all of my questions. When I entered the surgery room the assistant was very compassionate and spoke to me that everything will be alright. I want to thank Manhattan Lasik Center for giving me my eyesight back after 41 years; I should have done this surgery years ago. more

Crystal clear vision! A-MA-ZING! 10/20/2010

OMG, what a small world! I was having brunch with a few girl friends of mine and we happen to start talking about Lasik. One of my girl friend just had her lasik with Dr. Niksarli at MLC and was thrilled! It was a surprised because I had mine there 3 years ago at MLC too and my vision is still 20/20 crystal clear. A lot of great things have been said about MLC, and all of them are true because I can vouch from my experience I remember perfectly as if it was yesterday. more

Changed my life 10/12/2010

I was a bit nervous coming in; I was worried that the procedure would be painful but the staff was very reassuring. The atmosphere was soothing, calming, and relaxing. All of my questions were answered and then some. more

Great doctor, great result 10/5/2010

I had Lasik at MLC about 3 weeks ago and I recommend MLC with the outmost enthusiasm. This simply was the very best qualified facility in the area and the very best Board certified surgeons that I found after extensive amounts of research. I feel blessed that I have discovered this place. I read all the reviews on different sites before I made the appointment. The reviews were the best for MLC. From the very first visit, my expectations were not only met, but they were exceeded many times over. Everyone at MLC was super professional and I always felt very safe and well taken care of. I have actually been to other clinics in the NYC area that has very high reviews as well, but the experience at MLC was a lot better. What I liked during the consultation is that they give you a lot more materials and information to read and they give you all the time you need to talk about your eyes and laser technology. more

Miracle did happened on me! 9/27/2010

My name is Racheal, I was referred by my BFF who lives in the NYC area and had just had the procedure herself. I immediately made an appointment even though I am not living in NY anymore. I flew out the morning of the surgery due to some flight complications and the staff was very friendly and accommodating about my situation. Their wonderful attitudes continued throughtout my visit. Each staff member took care took explain everything very throughtly and make sure that i felt comfortable. I loved that the doctor was encouraging me through the whole procedure as well. My experience of the surgery itself was awesome too. There was no pain during or after the proceduce and took only 10 minutes. Of course I very pleased with the result so far. I woke up the followimg day. It's a miracle that I can actually see the alarm without any problem. I felt very comfortable and I would like to share it with everyone who needs Lasik. more

My overall experience was great. I felt that I was treated with care and professionalism. I think one thing that could be done is to advertise the feeling associated with the results not only from the medical stand point but also the impact it leaves on one's lifestyle. I can see the next day! 9/7/2010

Going from pretty much blind to seeing perfect the day after the procedure is pretty amazing. The staff was very helpful went over all the details pre and post surgery with me, thorough examination of eyes and explaining everything I wanted to know. I was nervous the day of the procedure but was reassured by Dr. Niksarli after meeting him for final exam. The procedure was fast and painless and I was calm throughout. I could see better immediately after. Next day clear vision. more

Very happy! 8/30/2010

I've had a great experience with everyone at Manhattan NJ Lasik Center. The customer service is exceptional. I was most nervous about blinking during the operation but I was assured that was not going to happen and it was exactly so. The operation itself was painless; however, there was more pressure than I expected. The pressure itself is not a problem overall. I might suggest some light instrumental music during the procedure. That might have helped me relax. What I disliked, and it truly wasn't a big deal was that after the operation I waited for someone to let me know when it was ok to leave. I was told that I can leave after 10 minutes but I still had a feeling that I was missing something. more

Best decision 8/30/2010

Having Lasik surgery was really the best decision I have ever made. Everyone at the office is so nice and understanding. I was extremely nervous on the day of my consultation. But getting to speak with people who had it done the day before really calmed me down and made it so much easier. The doctor was amazing, really so kind and re-assuring. He talked me thought the entire process so I knew what to expect and what was coming next. It truely was the best surgical experience and I would recommend the Manhattan Lasik Center to anyone looking to have Lasik Surgery. more

Well, overall I found the entire experience was very rewarding. The facility is gorgeous and very relaxing. The staff were great and nothing but helpful. I have never been to an office that is so well organized and well staffed. Everyone has a smile on their face and everyone knows the protocall very well. more
