Mane Event

I will be in the middle on this one. I have had amazing and amazingly aweful hair stylists in bigger cities, and I would place Mane Event closer to the amazing. The staff is friendly and the set up of the salon is clean and well kept. My hair highlighting was a success, while my cut was mediocre. I have also gone in for "spa" treatments such as waxing and manicures; this experience was very positive! Great brow wax and waxing options. Excellent conversations with staff. more

I have been to the Mane Event many times and I have never had one complaint against there services. I will say i know my stylist well. As with any salon, You should research your stylist as well as any salon. I have heard that there are a couple stylist who are less experienced and over priced. If you don't want to have a bad experience, choose a more experienced stylist. more

The Mane Event was always highly recommended, so when I booked an appointment to have my hair highlighted there I was expecting the best; this is not what I received. I never received the opportunity to change into a color smock, and by the end of the process the top of my shirt had been bleached. Also, they woman doing my color managed to turn my highlights orange. They were also sporadically placed around my head with no distinguishable pattern. She then only dried the top of my hair while she continued to check her watch. She asked if I wanted her to finish drying the rest, but by that time I was so upset I just wanted to leave. I would not recommend going to the Mane Event for hair color unless you want to look like you have a sunburst on the top of your head. more
