Magoo's

I've been there 25 times. Good - 5 times, Average - 12 times, Below average - 6, Almost got in a fight w/the pool attendent - 2 It's smokey, really smokey, great pool tables but too expensive for the average service and real ATTITUDES from some of the staff! more

Magoo's is a great pool hall. They serve appetizers early on in the evening. This is a really neat atmosphere for a night out on the town. They also have a room you can rent behind the actual bar that you can have a private party with several pool tables in it. which is a blast for a special birthday party. They make the best bloody mary's ever, if you go to magoo's and you like bloody mary's try one here. more

Magoo's is a fun place to go if you are looking to play serious pool or if you are looking for a place to hang out with friends. The crowd that goes to Magoo's tends to be an older crowd (i.e not too many annoying teenagers) and the place is pretty nice. They have quarter tables as well as regulation size pool tables available for rent by the hour or just use quarters. The bar there is pretty good but the prices are a little high. I think the most interesting thing about Magoo's is that they actually have really good food there. They sell things like chicken fingers and other standard bar far but they also sell sandwiches, steaks, and other things you wouldn't expect to find in a pool hall/bar. They also have a lot of pool tournaments that are going on all the time. There is a little of everything for people that like to play or want to learn how to play pool. more

Maggoo's is a fun hang out place for those who want to go out, but have something to do besides drink large quantities of alcohol (although that's available too). It's better than a bar because there are activities like pool. more

If you're into pool, Maggoos is the place. It seem to attract more seasoned pool players, probably isn't the best place to go if you're learning. But it's definately fun! more

Magoos is definitely a great place to hang out and have some fun in Tulsa. They offer many pool tables, where they host tournaments, or you can just play for fun. You can pay per game, or for an hourly rate. They have a great juke box, which is always playing the hottest music. They also offer fantastic meals and a full bar. Their prices are on the high end for meals and drinks, but if you enjoy a casual, laid back environment, you would really enjoy Magoos. more
