Best

I would highly recommend Magic Island for all occassions. Best service, good food. I had my husbands company function there with ExxonMobil and we really enjoyed the atmosphere ...

The mandatory valet parking was unnecessary, but i've seen it more expensive. Then you go inside and they ask for a credit card right away so they can open a bill, which you carr...

Recommend for Special Occasions 5/30/2004

My husband and son took me here for Mother's Day 2004. The food-great, the waitstaff-attentive, and the atmosphere-very interesting. The two smaller theatres were comfortable and the magicians entertaining. I took part of one card trick and am still trying to figure out how on earth he did it! The main theatre was comfortable and I loved the pre-show music (Sade); it set the whole mood. The main magician was great, and I've given up trying to figure out how he did his tricks. I'd say it's an incredible place for kids. I only wish we didn't have to wait for the second show to end before the disco opened. Pros: Ambiance, Food, Entertainment Cons: , Disco not opened more

I loved it 2/3/2004

Always a great time 8/26/2003

I will spend money on great food, service, and a great time. That is why I return to Magic Island. I have never been disappionted. Yes it is expensive but most luxury items in life are. If you are wanting a different atmosphere not unlike the Luxor in Vagas this is the place for you. Enjoy... more

REDRUM 8/14/2003

My boyfriend and I went out to Magic Island for a fun night out. It turned out to be a nightmare. I'll have scary dreams about this place for a long time. The waiting staff is sketchy, the front desk people come from the Munster family, and the restaurant was straight out of Stephen King's novel ""The Shining."" No kidding...this place is what scary movies are made of. We both walked out of there with a sketchy feeling, the magic was poor, and the entire staff acted extremely strange. But don't worry because we did come out with an awesome souvenir...an $80.00 bill. We paid $80.00 for low class entertainment, and a very creepy feeling. Oh, and did I mention, we HAD to pay $5.00 to have some scary looking dude drive our car, like a maniac, 5 feet away to park it. Dont goRUN!!!!!!!!! Pros: alright food, neat elevator, ??? Cons: strange, awkward, scary more

Magical Evening 12/7/2002

My company had its holiday party at Magic Island last night and it was the best ever. We had a private room with holiday decorations and a ceiling painted like the sky (reminds you of Caesars in Vegas). I had heard the food was not good so I was delighted when I saw and tasted my red sapper topped with shrimp and lobster. My husband had a large steak that was also very good. The shows were first class as promised. The staff was very attentive and the bartender, Taber made sure everyone in out group had a great time. We cannot wait until our next company function at Magic Island. I highly recommend Magic Island for a group outing. Cheers! Pros: Group Specials, Entertainment, Ambiance more
