Best

The exact opposite of what the last 3 bad reviews have said. I've been going to Luna Nails for years so I should know. Have also lived in various big cities across the country so ...

Worst

Average nail salon. Don't understand why they have this picture of a salon on this site because it is not the same salon. I looked at this site before I went there and thought I...

Great service! Great Solar Nails! 10/22/2006

A group of 12 of us went to Austin from Houston for a bachelorette party. In the daytime, we wanted to get our nails done...I saw the good reviews on Citysearch for Luna Nails and made an appointment for all of us. They accomodated all of us very nicely. There were 5 employees and they all worked on us one by one. There were about 5 chairs to wait at. My only complaint was that the waiting area which is by the window and door can get kind of hot. Pros: Plenty of Parking, Good Service, Very nice workers Cons: Hot by the waiting area (window/door) more

The Best! 9/17/2006

I went to Luna based on the reviews on CitySearch, and it is the best kept secret. Where else can you get a 30 minute, long-lasting manicure for $12.00? Pros: Clean, great value for the money more

New Fan of Luna 4/30/2006

Had a OPI solar fill today and it was the best I've had in the last 10 years. Thomas is excellent. Gentle with the drill. Smiles and happy people. No rushing! I love it and wll be back in two weeks to see Thomas of course. more

A must go weekly retreat! 5/3/2005

Over the past couple months, I've visited Luna Nail Spa, almost religiously. I hadn't been to Luna in a while, so I immediately noticed the changes- not only a new owner, but superior treatment, new furniture, a friendly staff and best of all, more reasonable prices! The nail techs really pay extra attention and for the first time in a really long time, I got a compliment on my nails (I always get my nails done - so getting a compliment is really extraordinary). Other than getting my nails done, I've given Luna's other treatments a try. After a long week, the massages in those new leather chairs really hit the spot. And...I've even had my eyes tinted! The staff is so friendly and so comforting, Luna's is the ideal retreat for me! I highly recommend it! more

Mediocre experience 4/28/2005

After reading the two positive reviews on Citysearch, I decided to try this place out. I was disappointed that the salon's choice of nail colors did not include many light pinks, nor did they have any of the newer OPI colors. The nail tech did a mediocre job on scrubbing my feet (my biggest need in getting a pedicure), but did a nice job on polishing my nails. Also, when someone walked in soon after me wanting a manicure (Friday afternoon at 4pm), they asked if she had an appointment - she replied that she did not but thought they accepted walk-ins. They agreed that they do but informed her they were all busy. They weren't very accomodating in offering to have her wait and didn't say it would be ""X"" amount of time before the next available opening - at which point the customer walked out, exasperated. Pros: inexpensive, good polish job, good parking Cons: busy, incomplete pedicure, unaccomodating more

Luna - Even Better under new management 3/21/2005

I recently returned to Luna Nail Spa to get some services and found out it is now under new management. There have been quite some changes not only more services, but also better prices. The new leather fully back massage pedi chairs was worth trying with friendly/sanitary/professional services and resonable prices . It not only provides nail services but other such services as facials, waxing, and tinting. I did not only have my nails done but also tint my eyes lash. I am so excited that I don't have to wear mascara any more. I also found out for my friends that the prices for acrylic/solar nails have also been lower too. The atmosphere and decoration are so unique. I am glad I had returned to give it another try. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Inexpensive, Good location, Good Parking more

Luna is fantastic 11/10/2003

I have been searching for a nail salon that fits somewhere in between a super cheap I am just a number type of salon and one so expensive I will no doubt hear about it from my husband. I have found this happy medium at Luna, reasonable prices and a very upscale intimate atmosphere. Kelly, the proprietor, greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in. Her staff was attentive and very, very good at what they do. I have recommended Luna to all my girlfriends Pros: upscale environment, resonable prices, great location more

Pampering Spa 11/10/2003

Luna Nail Spa services are priced slightly higher than other strip mall nails salons but it is worth it. You can tell right away that you will have a relaxing and peaceful experience by the earth tone walls and the soft music playing. If you are lucky enough you will get the pedicure chair that is behind the privacy screen, along with massage chair this is one of the finest pedicures I've ever had. I have had regular manicures and recently tried out some pink and white acrylic nails. I like the products they use, they are luxurious. The best part, my pedicures last 3 weeks! more
