Luke's Locker

So I recently went with my fiance and his friend to Luke's as the 2 guys recently started training for some upcoming races. Hands down the most personable, knowledgeable staff I've ever talked with. Ray was helping us. He has been a running coach for years, and you can tell right away he knows what he's talking about. A pleasure to talk with/learn from. I wasn't even planning on getting new shoes, but by the time the 2 guys had finished I talked myself into it. I have high arches even standing and I do tend to roll to the outside of my foot when I run. (doh). Before pulling any shoes, he took a look at our feet, how we both walked and ran. The shoes I finally decided on/ was matched with are outstanding. I'm not a serious runner, but these shoes are the best fitting, most supportive running shoes I've ever bought. My fiance and his friend were very different (foot shape, running form) and they're also ecstatic over their new shoes. We will all be coming back to Luke's for our next pair - I'd even come back from Austin! : ) Pros: friendly service, extremely knowledgeable staff Cons: none that I saw that day more

I was ignored and treated with no concern. I asked for help with shoes at the counter and the woman told me to go back to the shoe area. The shoe people were waiting on other customers and when i went back to the desk the person said "" i dont sell shoes"" she could have offered to answer questions or show me what i went there intending to buy (MBT shoes) which I found ON SALE at whole earth provisions (and was treated with appreciation and camaraderie by all the staff as always. If you need running shoes or apparel go fleet feet in rice village-they know their stuff. Pros: big, good location Cons: they never have heard of customer service more

do not be fooled by lukes locker pro health image. its a sham. I have the misfortune of living near one. they are not good neighbors. I have caught one of their employees more than once walking their little dog and leaving its waste on my property. not only is it illegal its disgusting and unhealthy. thanks for nothing lukes \r \r more
