Junk Place, Junk Service, and definitely JUNK Pizza....... I picked up their pizza (so called Lou's), and was excited to indulge - from my past experiences at other Lou Malnati's locations - into the pizza. My taste buds and my excitement came crashing down after only trying one bite of their pizza. Crust of the pizza seemed like old crust (could be old missed delivery) heated after I placed my order. Famous Lou's signature marinara sauce wasn't even on the pizza, and the pizza itself was cluttered with tomatoes. I feel lucky since I didn't get food poisoning after taking few bites of their JUNK pizza (I discarded the rest of the pizza is in the dumpster). PLEASE avoid Schaumburg location and spread the word as well, so they don't treat their loyal (from other locations) customers like piece of dirt any more. THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL VENDETTA AGAINST LOU MALNATI'S, I am writing this review after an awful experience. - Yasin Schaumburg, IL more

Very good Chicago Pizza 4/23/2012

A little cramped, but a great place for Chicago style pizza. Lots of families there so don't be surprised by the kids running around. more

Good enough to return 6/23/2011

From out of town and a Thin and crispy pizza lover. I ordered the Deep dish because I'm in Chicago. more

Pizza 1/16/2010

We love the pizza but will refrain from visiting this location due to the overall feeling that the facilty is not very clean. Realize that major clientele is primarily younger kids and teenagers which adds to the overall difficulty of maintaining the interior. Pros: Pizza gets a 5 star rating Cons: The carpet has needed to be replaced for years - 1 star more

Family Favorite No More 1/15/2009

We took the kids out for pizza at a family favorite, Lou Malnati's. My husband and kids ordered pizza, but I was in the mood for something else. Baked Mostacolli. So everything comes, and I take a bite of my penne pasta with a ladle full of goop on top. Baked nothing! It was awful. In fact, it tasted like Chef Boy R Dee Chili on top of pasta (and that's giving Chef Boy R Dee a bad name). I couldn't even finish it. Honestly, I could hardly start it. Three bites max is all I ate, and when we mentioned it to the server---there was no offer of changing items, or even having it removed from our bill. Now, I'm not usually one to complain to the restaurant staff. I had a friend who would eat 3/4 of her meal--and then complain just to get it for free. This was not my intent--but it was so bad, it had to be mentioned. But NOTHING! I waited while the kids finished up and off we went (very LOW tip). We stopped at McDonald's on the way home--I got a Big Mac. It was HEAVEN compared to that garbage! Pros: Short Wait Cons: Over Priced, Un-helpful staff more

Outside of restaurant better than inside 9/3/2002

First of all, the restaurant looks really cute from the outside, but isn't nearly as cute on the inside. But the pizza's quite good and service is usually pretty good as well. more
