A co-worker brought me to Los Dados on Thursday night - I had actually never heard of it before but he promised me a good time. When we arrived I was definitely very hesitant........Meat Packing is not really my scene and the bar area was mobbed. I was about one minute away from turning and running, but my buddy insisted we stay. Our reservation wasn't for another 20 minutes so we decided to try and belly up to the bar............and he decided and I was forced to go along with it. We were about 3 deep (i think there was a party of 20 or so people in their outside lounge) and I figured we'd be waiting years for a bartenders attention. Luckily, the other hostess spotted us and asked if we'd like to see a drink menu. About 45 seconds later a cute bartender made eye contact and before I knew it, our margaritas were on there way. Wow - maybe this night wasn't going to turn out all that bad. I had a cucumber margarita (the first of 5 that night!) and my friend had some sort of vanilla cocktail.\r

About 3/4 of the way through our drinks we were found by the hostess and brought to a table on the patio - the restaurant was still jamming and it was already 9:30. We had guacamole, some tiny beef tacos, and a special scallop ceviche to start - all 3 were off the chain. Unfortunately, this is where my review ends\r

Halfway through my 3rd drink everything becomes fuzzy. I'm pretty sure I had a chicken quesadilla - no clue what my buddy ate. He was sampling everything off of the cocktail list and kept raving - the only one that sticks out in my mind was a berry margarita that had a frozen lime filled with mezcal. The reason that I remember that one is because I laughed at him for about 5 minutes for ordering a girly drink, but quickly shut up after taking a sip - that's what put me over the edge.\r

So everything turned out great in the end - even though I ended up on my bathroom floor and not at the apt of one of the smoking girls that was at the table next to us!
Pros: awesome margaritas, very good service, great appetizers, hot women
Cons: Its in the meatpacking district, no trains close by
