Worst Anniversary Dinner 9/27/2011

My husband and I went to this location on New Year's Eve 2010 to celebrate our anniversary that was coming up that week. We were so excited that they had call-ahead seating. When we got there, we got seated right away and our order was taken. We waited a little while for a waitress, which we didn't mind since we had been seated so quickly. By the time our waitress came to take our order we had already decided what we wanted to eat. After ordering, we waited forever to get our drinks and bread. The wait seemed to be a little excessive even though they were busy and we expected the dining experience to take a little longer than if they were only half full. more

Terrible service 3/22/2010

Waited over an hour for a table and then our whole party didn't even get to sit together. We couldn't even see the rest of our party from where we were sitting. Hostesses were rude and seemed much more concerned with gossiping amongst themselves. Once we were seated, and I kid u not, we had to wait another 10 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. Considering we had to wait almost 2 hours for our food, it was not good at all. Don't eat here unless u plan on waiting FOREVER! And I do mean forever. more

Great steak! Reasonable prices. 6/12/2007

Every time I've eaten here, I have come away satisfied. Sometimes the kitchen may not get things right the first time (very rarely) but that's understandable given how picky people can be about their steaks (especially me!) But the staff is always genuinely concerned that I'm happy with my meal and they always go out of their way to make things right. How refreshing to go to a casual restaurant such as this and have the manager actually personally visit your table - unlike other places which just take items off of your bill and never make the effort to apologize. You get a great value here - especially when considering the portions you get and the quality of steaks. Pros: Central location in Brier Creek. Great kids menu. Staff that cares. Cons: Smoking section not enclosed - can smell smoke in other areas. more

Terrible steak, terrible cooks 5/19/2007

I ate here with some family members because we had a gift certificate. Some gift it turned out to be. The place looks nice inside, cute western style decorations on the walls and even some fake rafters in the ceiling. It was fairly crowded, which is surprising given the quality of the food. We all ordered steaks, two of us got sirloins which we asked for medium both came out well-done. I sent it back, the server was very apologetic and the manager also came by to apologize. They sent out new steaks that were actually a little undercooked this time but I was not going to send it back again. The meat was bland, and not very tender even though it was medium-rare. I tried someone else's filet, and it didn't taste any different. The only good things we ate was the bread and our free dessert. The manager at least did appear to be genuinely concerned, but this restaurant really needs better cuts of meat and some cooks who know what they are doing. At $18- $20 for a filet, I'd rather pay an extra $5- $10 and go to a real restaurant. Pros: manager did try to make us happy Cons: the meat is subpar, it will not be cooked to your specifications more

Founded in Atlanta by George McKerrow,Jr.,LongHorn Steakhouse began with one man's passion for perfect steak but very few guests to convince. Then a freak snowstorm hit Atlanta in 1982,stranding motorists and drawing them to one of the only hospitable places available - a restaurant then called LongHorn Steaks Restaurant & Saloon. Tales of expertly grilled steaks soon spread like wildfire, and the legend of LongHorn was born.
Today,LongHorn welcomes diners to a modern, relaxing dining experience, with knowledgeable servers offering the finest fresh steaks, chicken and seafood expertly prepared as only LongHorn can.
Beyond legendary steaks done right,LongHorn is also known for being a positive force in the community. Each day,the restaurant gathers unused, fresh food that wasn't served & donates it to local community food banks. LongHorn Steakhouse is proud to give back to the local community and help make a difference in the lives of others.
