Review content:
I ate here with some family members because we had a gift certificate. Some gift it turned out to be. The place looks nice inside, cute western style decorations on the walls and even some fake rafters in the ceiling. It was fairly crowded, which is surprising given the quality of the food. We all ordered steaks, two of us got sirloins which we asked for medium both came out well-done. I sent it back, the server was very apologetic and the manager also came by to apologize. They sent out new steaks that were actually a little undercooked this time but I was not going to send it back again. The meat was bland, and not very tender even though it was medium-rare. I tried someone else's filet, and it didn't taste any different. The only good things we ate was the bread and our free dessert. The manager at least did appear to be genuinely concerned, but this restaurant really needs better cuts of meat and some cooks who know what they are doing. At $18- $20 for a filet, I'd rather pay an extra $5- $10 and go to a real restaurant. Pros: manager did try to make us happy Cons: the meat is subpar, it will not be cooked to your specifications
