Undoubtedly a welcome addition to the UWS. The bar is very flash, and big enough to accommodate big groups. Be prepared to wait for your drink, however, if you're not sporting silk or cashmere.
The main dining area offers a delicious menu, which goes some way in erasing the bad feelings created by the spotty and sometimes snotty (the sommelier) service. Really, the food is excellent - even on the 30$ prix fixe (which, by the way, barely offsets the exceedingly expensive wine list: there were five $300 bottles for every one under $50).
This place was hopping on a Tuesday night - it really is a welcome addition.
Pros: Food, Posh Atmosphere
Cons: Service, Expensive
