We heard good things about this place, but we're disappointed immediately when we were told they don't serve alcohol. But we still wanted to try the ""amazing"" food we heard abo...

ONE OF A KIND! 2/14/2008

A date took me here one night in December...and all I can say is that it is one of a kind! I don't even like Mexican that much and this was just plain delicious! I had the chicken quesidilla (simple, i know) but it had THE BEST taste! I couldn't get enough. AND the crayons at the table are perfect for those artsy people who like to draw all over the table cloth. GET THE FRIED ICE CREAM TO SHARE! Almost everything can be shared here and its just awesome. The servers are all in a great mood...and the atmosphere is funky, unique and an overall nice experience. I'd highly reccommend this restaurant! :) more

Crawling back for more... 1/11/2008

So, I went back to Little T's (of course I would) after writing a critical review here. And after my expericence, my consience tugged at me. This time, the food was well prepared and well balanced. It came hot and the crispys were crispy the produce was fresh and just right. I have to say I have a semi-renewed faith in the place. I'll coment no further, thank you. Pros: Cool wall painting, kind, attentive, cute waitstaff, good music. Cons: Consitency more

Little T's Rocks!!!!!! 10/19/2007

This last post was made by a disguntaled former employee who was terminated and needs to move on. Legal action has already been taken against her. So please just ignore anything that she says. Little T's is an awesome place sometimes things just dont work out and she needs just to chill out. Thanks :) more

Needs new Management 9/15/2007

Customer is not always right. Salsa is reused off dirty tables to new customers. Dining room smells of mold. A very sketchy place with bad vibes. more

Tastey food can do that 5/30/2007

Yes, I liked Little T's for the first few times but then ""it"" happened. My stomach became a very unhappy place and the rest of me also became unhappy for the next few days. As I spread my story of illness, I find that almost everyone I know has had a similar, yet less humerous experience. Pros: coloring while you wait Cons: violently ill more

Mama would approve this LaidBack Mex spot 4/30/2007

Need I say more? The place has been there since way way way before Mexican food debuted in the midwest. The decor is tacky and wonderful. The waitstaff are copacetic. The food is cheap, authentic, and can be prepared to your specifications if you don't really like what they serve. This is the kind of place that you would want to meet Frida Kahlo and Leon Trotsky to discuss the fall of the United States as a civilization, over margaritas and greasy corn chips. Pros: What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) Cons: Cerrado Tuesdays. more

SUPER yummy hamburgers! 11/14/2006

Ok - so this place does have excellent Mexican food but OMG you must go there and have a burger! I have been going to this place for late night eats for like 10 years and have only ever had Mexican twice. Just can't pass up that delicious burger. Great food, prices, hours, and ambiance are the reasons that wioll keep me coming back for years to come! more

Great fried chips! 10/29/2006

This place is a total dive but the food is really good. I love their deep fried chips even though they are bad for you! And their burritos served enchilada style (with sauce and melted cheese) are yummy! This is one of my favorite hangover places. more

Chimi's are Excellant!!! 9/10/2006

Simple, Great Staff, Excellant food!!!! Holloweens are fun, as they dress up in WILD costumes! Staff is fun and they even sit and talk with you! more

late night mexican cravings 7/27/2006

I have always loved Little T's - i've been going here for 7 years, and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for a upscale, quiet romantic dining locale, you came to the wrong place! and if you look where you are, you could tell that by the storefront and the neighborhood! the staff is prompt and fun, and you can color your table while you wait. Pros: awesome food in great portions more

Good 5/14/2006

This place is a great greasy spoon that serves up good food. I got the fried chips and put a little salt on them and got pico. Very good! I also had the shredded pork taco's (#3) and they were wonderful. They do not offer refills on soda's but COME ON, no person should drink more than one of those gigantic sodas in one setting. I was practically in a food coma and wanted to be wheeled out of Little T's. Servers were also nice and helpful!! Pros: fast friendly service Cons: A bit spendy more

Never Again 4/8/2006

We had been here before and liked it for what it was: mexican food, late night at a hole in the wall. Expecting the same we went back. Seated right away we were ready to order 10 minutes later when the waiter came to the table (there were numerous empty tables at 12am b4 the drunk rush). 1/2 hour after our order was taken we were informed our ticket had fallen to the floor and our food would be right out. 15 minutes later we were ready to pay for our drinks and leave. The ""manager"" handled their mistake by arguing with us and not letting us leave without our food to go. We received our appitizer for free, a rude comment on the way out and no appology. We took the food home and threw it away. Pros: Seated right away, Crayons keep you busy, food smelled good Cons: Rude staff, Being sober, Parking more

Fabulous Food! 3/9/2006

I recently went there for lunch on a weekday. We got there @ noon and there were no other customers there yet. We were served our food within 10 minutes of ordering. It was fantastic! The soft drinks are huge, but no free refills, and they are expensive. During busy times, it is hard to find parking in that neighborhood. Also, they are strict about payment; no checks and only 1 credit card per table, which may turn some people away. Overall GREAT food and fun atmosphere! Pros: fantastic food, crayons!, fairly inexpensive Cons: tough to find parking, no refills, Strict payment policy more

Don't waste your time. 1/3/2006

We were a group of 12. They were blaring hip-hop so, we asked if they could turn it down a little. ""No."" she said The waitress would not separate our bills. They would not accept checks. Only two credit cards can be used per table. We asked if we could break up into smaller tables - no one had cash. She said ""No."" There we're 4 other people in the whole restaurant - it was not about chairs. We went to another restaurant. It was ridiculous. more

Weekly Regular loves Lil T's 5/22/2004

Waitresses get to know regular customers. Food is made quick. Scantily clad, tatooed/ pierced waitresses entertain customers with their quickness on 4+ inch heeled shoes. Maybe not for your grandparents but this place is great. Quirky atmosphere complete with little signs everywhere, from 'Good customers put away their crayons' to 'No Checks'. Greasy spoon tex-mex restaurant done well. Pros: Open All Holidays, Can Draw on Tables, Tables Turn Quickly Cons: , No food substitutions more

GARBAGE 2/14/2004

Maybe they changed owners or something, because the food here SUCKS and it is relatively expensive. It's greasy tex-mex served in an equally gross environment. Chips and salsa are extra and you're lucky if you don't chip a tooth. I ordered the taco/enchilada dinner for $8 and the tacos and the enchiladas must contain the same ingredients, chicken tacos means chicken enchiladas. Soft-drinks are expensive, $2.25, and NO REFILLS. We got 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and chips for $26. That wouldn't be expensive if it were any good. Did I mention the grease? AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Pros: service Cons: , environment, parking more

Fun Filled Eating Experiences! 1/18/2003

I had a blast eating at Little T's. There is a lot to look at and the food was delicious! I would definately recommend it! Pros: scenery, food, inexpensive Cons: smokey more

Horrible service 9/10/2002

I have always been treated wonderfully here, until recently. Last time I was there, my waitress spilled coke all over the table and us, and she didn't even apologize. Then at the end of the meal, she made a rude comment about the size of the tip we left, which was extremely generous given the size of our order and her rudeness. I hope I never have to see her again. Pros: late night, enchiladas more

what the hell happened 9/5/2002

ive been going to little ts for years now and the only reason to go was the cheap food and to see all the freaks now it seems that all the freaks are being replaced by goody goodys and the cost has been getting higher and higher im very sad to say that the saga of little ts has ended Pros: good food Cons: cost increase, employee turnover more

Mucho Grande Baby!! 8/8/2002

A lil hole in the wall..place that makes a big mark on the Cities..mexican hang outs...you want some nachos..and the best carne asada Tacos...Muy Bueno!!...a must for that spicy late nite urge!..or when you get the late nite munchies! Pros: need more Cons: to crowded more
