I've been going to ABC for several years and have always gotten great service and caring (when I had to lose one pet). Just yesterday my cat was whining and they took her in immediately for a ruptured anal gland. The surgery was done right away and I picked her up in the evening. Even with a tube in she seems to be feeling great and I'm sure the healing will be swift.\r more

We've taken our dog here for the last year or so because it was walking distance from our old house. I've never been ""thrilled"" with our experience there until our visit last Sunday. - First off, they are open Sunday all day! - No ER vet rates is very cool! Sunday our dog woke up with a paw the size of a baseball and couldn't walk. ABC could fit us in for an appointment that day and the vet was able to figure out within a few minutes, what was wrong. Our dog required surgery to located a small fox tail that went between her toes and under her skin. ABC Vet was able to do the surgery that day but warned that they may not be able to find the tiny grass like thing that was in her leg. They found it after an hour of searching and our dog is now ""good as new"". The staff was super nice and everyone in our household is all wags!\r more

I love this cozy little place! We have always taken our family dogs here, and I tried another vet clinic for my dog that I have now and they are so impersonal and expensive! I started going to ABC again a year ago, and will never venture elsewhere again. My dog is notorious for something odd happening to him and one day he woke up with hives and they were able to take him in immediately! From personal experience, ER vet bills are ridiculous so I REALLY appreciate them being so accommodating!\r more

It is so good to see that people still care. I called many places to find out pricing, but in the end my total bill was less than some office visits alone The treatment my cat and I got was second to none. I was in a bad spot and they made everything better. I talked to Peggy on the phone the day before and she did everything possible to get my cat looked at ASAP.\r more

A friend of mine recommended ABC. After reading some reviews I was a little hesitant about this place. I decided to take a chance and took my beagle to ABC vet for his first checkup ever. I was very pleased with their service. They answered ALL my question(trust me they were many), gave us a budget with all the services recommended for my dog and went through it all. They even gave me ways to save money on vet costs and med. At no moment did I feel they were pushing on us unnecessary tests and products. I believe the fees are reasonable. My pet and I received great attention and care. I got the most helpful vet assistant who took all the time to make sure all our concerns were fixed. I recommend ABC Vet on Hornblend based on my first experience with them.\r more

The staff was very helpful and informative. I took my two kittens in to get spayed and neutered. I dropped them off in the morning and picked them up after work. They called me to let me know that my kitties were doing well after their surgery. When I picked them up, one of the ladies at the front desk gave me some extra tips on fighting fleas. There were plenty of people there waiting to be helped but she still took the time to give me individual attention. I did not feel rushed out the door. I had a great experience and will continue to take my animals to ABC.\r more

The entire staff has been very friendly and educational when it comes to caring for my first cat. I've been in a couple times and they really care! I recently took my cat in for a small problem and the vet took more time talking with me than I usually get from a physician! I'll go back, but hopefully not too often... :-)\r more

Best care for your pets at affordable no bs prices! We found them after being referred by another military family. PB is a little far of a drive for us in National City but SO worth it! Dr Jones is amazing very friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of our pets. We have 3 cats and have definitely found our permanent vet for our family members. Charla in the front office is great as well. Love taking our girls to see them!\r more

I LOVE this place...I took in my little boxer and he loved it there!! I had to take him for his vaccines and first exam and he did fantastic the front staff was great! They are very reasonably priced and they do such a good job in caring for my little guy! The doctors were very nice as well and I just enjoyed the experience overall. I will definitely be taking my dog there some more!! Kudos toABC vet!!!\r more
