Lakewood Auto Electric has been GREAT! I took my 95 Subaru there when my backyard mechanic (who I LOVE) couldn't fix a problem. They fixed it an the car ran great. We had been having to replace a fuse to make the rear tail lights work since I bought the car a year ago. Then it finally shorted out whatever was wrong totally and the car didn't start. So THAT was AWESOME. Then, a week ago or so, the tail lights wouldn't work again. My backyard mechanic was still at a loss to figure this out so I took it back to them again. Guess what? It was a stupid little button on the top of the steering wheel that ONLY Subarus have. Had to flip that switch and it worked. I was sort of embarrassed. But they made me feel better and supported my mechanic saying most people don't know about this because this is THE ONLY type of car that has this. And guess what they charged me? The normal $95 charge to check out your problem? NO! They did it FOR FREE! I will continue to use this local shop whenever I need auto electric work -- and you should too! \r

By the way - I'm a single Mom and a tight budget. My backyard mechanic recommended these guys or I never would have went there. He likes them as well. He is like my Dad. I trust him for EVERYTHING! I've had shops take advantage of me before because I'm a woman. In fact, I've had to leave a mechanic in the past because they wouldn't listen to me as a woman. These guys SO could have taken advantage of me, but they sent me away with no cost. They certainly didn't even try to take advantage of me. AND my mechanic ""Dad"" trusts them too. What better recommendation is there then that?!?!?!?!\r
