I bought a nice white buttercream cake for my birthday. Service was fast and efficient. Cake was beautiful and sooooo light. The buttercream isnt overbearing, greasy or salty like i've tasted before. Also they offer coffee, tea and other hot beverages which I thought was very nice because it provides a cafe feel to it. I would recommend them definetly! Pros: Tasty, good service more

After reading the reviews on various blogs about this bakery, i visited it this weekend. If you do not live in the neighhborhood, then it is not worth the trip. There is practically no space to sit, let alone stand. The cupcakes, (while they are a generous portion) are all kept chilled!!! The weather was nice this weekend, but a cold cupcake???? I think that the coldness threw me off from really tasting/enjoying the cupcake. There are average priced cupcakes and then there were $4 cupcakes????\r \r in my opinion they are so many other places to visit with offer better atmosphere (there is no atmosphere here as there is nowhere to sit) and there are much better cupcakes to be eaten elsewhere Pros: ????? This is a little gem in Park Slope. Their Brooklyn blackout cake is definitely a must try for chocolate lovers. Very rich, but hits the spot! Their red velvet cup cakes with cream cheese frosting are yummy too. Excellent service, tasty coffee, delicious desserts....perfect! Any of their desserts are the perfect finish to a picnic lunch in the park or a Romantic Dinner at home. Their Brooklyn Blackout Cake is a chocolate lovers dream and the Key Lime Tart is crisp and refreshing. And though these rich, high quality confections dont come cheap, they are worth it.
