I read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. Using their iPhone app, I ordered a 12" Margartia Pizza for pickup and left to get my order. Upon arrival, I found my order had been received and completed. I paid the exact amount stated on the app. My pizza was hot so it was just made... I live a short distance away.\r \r The pizza tasted great! The sauce had good flavor, the mozzarella was fresh, the crust was crispy and thin. I also tried their Tiramisu since the waiter said it was made in-house. The dessert was very good and tasted homemade.\r \r Their iPhone app works very well, it has the majority of the menu items and makes it very easy to place an order. The only problem with it is that it does not give any description of the menu items, I had to look up the items on their website to decide but this could easily be fixed. \r \r The wait staff was friendly and very helpful... I will be returning to La Fontana soon! more

I love to eat at La Fontana. Their dishes and their pizza is absolutely awesome. The owners and staff are very polite and friendly also.\r \r The one health concern me and my party noticed today was how the complimentary pesto bread they provide was made.\r \r We watched our waiter take orders, process checks, take money, touch doors, tables, chairs, etc and then when the bread is up, he doused it with a pesto sauce that's in a bottle (which is fine) and then reached into a stainless steel container with his hands, that were unwashed, and sprinkle cheese all over the bread!!!! \r \r That is VERY unsanitary!!! We also observed all the waiters doing the exact same thing!!! We did not eat the bread obviously...\r \r A simple solution would be to use a shaker container as waiters should not be touching food in any way, shape, or form.\r \r Depending upon your waiter, you may get great service or poor service that keeps you waiting...\r \r This I simply do not understand as there are so many staff members vs. the amount of customers.\r \r Still recommend for great authentic Italian food though! Just keep your eyes open... more

This restarant come recommended to us as a great local dining experience. We ate there this past Saturday evening, dining at one of the outside tables. We were seated promptly, and immediately had delicious bread at our table. What truly made our evening though was our server, a gentleman by the name of Alan. He was so professional and attentive to all of our needs, and took the time to explain the menu thoroughly to us, as well as make recommendations that proved to be excellent! Our dinner service was prompt, but never for a minute did he make us feel rushed. Thanks to his professionalism, we had a delicious meal and a wonderful evening. The food was excellent and we will definitely return with friends in the near future. It was a great overall experience! more

I really enjoy this restaurant. The owners are two brothers who take a lot of pride in all of the dishes they pump out of their small kitchen.\r \r With all of the dining tables located outside, it gives this restaurant a unique feel. I have to admit I wish they had some seating inside and maybe a bar to sit at. This issue should rectified itself once they take over and remodeled the old Quiznos right door.\r \r I always get the Lobster Ravioli, the house salad with no olives, and the homemade focaccia bread, all to go. I walk in, grab a couple of Miller Lites from their front cooler, and stand at the counter and shoot the $hit with the owners while my meal is being prepared. Just nice guys and so are the servers. I drink my beers, get my food and I'm gone.\r \r The house salad comes with a balsamic vinegar based dressing with fresh parm cheese sprinkled on top. No iceberg lettuce here, just nice mix of fresh Italian lettuce. I love the saltiness of the parm with the bitter lettuce and finished with the sourness of the dressing. The meal also comes with homemade focaccia bread. This bread looks like a pita and is shaped like it too, but it doesn't tastes like pita bread. Does that makes sense...LOL. Their bread is fluffier than a pita and the pesto sauce they drizzle on top takes it to another yummy level. The ravioli is served in a light cream sauce and are F'ing delicious. The nice sized ravioli have a good flavors and are filled with a good portion of lobster. I always add some extra parm cheese on top just because I love it:)\r \r Overall, I have NEVER had a bad meal here and I highly recommend it if you don't mind sitting outside. Or, you can get your food to go like me. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry! more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LA FONTANA. My husband and I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in South Florida and La Fontana is one of the best Italian restaurants we have dined in. The service is the friendliest in town, and the food is authentic, straight from the kitchens of Italy. Although at the moment there is only outdoor dining available, the climate is always comfortable, whether in the heat of the summer or during the cooler days of winter. The owners, Spartaco and Antonio, are Italian brothers who can always be found either in the kitchen or walking from table to table, talking with customers and making sure they are having a special culinary experience. more

listen to me everyone who is extremly negative first off to who ever wrote that comment about the saporita has broccolli di rape not regular broccolli so the taste was correct nd number to diavola on the menu says spicey salami not sausage and salami thin sliced is indeed peperoni. so for some one who thinks they know this and that i can see u dont know much. la fontana is the only italian place that isnt fake and i will tell u what fake is italian that is from brooklyn and all that other none sence thats not real at all thats ppl who have italian in there blood line and think that makes they know all about the food to the ppl who wrote that comment im sure his wife thinks spagetti and meatballs is italian only ppl who are really italian know that that dish is american. i was born and raised in italy i know what i am talking about. if ppl do not have anything nice to say there words should b kept silent from the world because when 100's and 100's of ppl go hear that means only you and some selected other feel like that so in that case ur the manority not the majority so calm ur self. and in service i seen good service and bad there but but you have to remember the ppl who work there are trying to make everyone happy and its not easy u think its simple but if they gave u there shoes to walk in u would understand why these ignorant comment should be kept off the internet. i am speaking as someone who eats there very often and brings ppl there nd the ppl i bring have always been happy. i love this place i recomend it to everyone. and with that im going to close this comment more

This restaurant is extremely misleading. It's designed to look nice with fancy menus and names for their food, in order to mask the horrible food. My wife is italian, so I know what italian food tastes like. The calamari was overcooked (like rubber), and the marinara sauce tasted like it came out of a can. I ordered the "Diavola Pizza" : a spicy italian sausage pizza. When my pizza came out it was a plain pepperoni pizza!!! That was an insult. I know what sausage looks like. My wife's Margherita pizza was just a plain cheese pizza! A Margherita pizza is supposed to have sliced tomatoes and cheese. The pizzas tasted like carnival pizza. I don't understand how so many people wrote positive reviews for La Fontana. P.S. service sucked!!! Avoid at all costs!!! more

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed. We ordered two pizzas. One was the Emiliana and the other one was the saporita. The Emiliana was supposed to have aurugula but it had something else on it I'm not sure what it was. The other one had broccoli that was over cooked and didn't taste too good. To make matters worse one of the waiters smelled really bad which made the meal that much less enjoyable. more

The thin crust pizza is excellent. We come here twice a week and are always greeted warmly by the owners and staff. They sometimes surprise guests with garlic bread or other goodies, like gelato, and really make you feel welcome. The eggplant is very different than what I'm used to (it's so thinly sliced it mixes with the cheese and sauce) but that's not a negative to me.\r \r Haven't tried the other dishes yet but only because we're hooked on the pizza. It was recommend to us, and now we're passing it on to others. more

Aaaahhhh a friend told me about this place. I checked it out tonight and .... Aaahhhh! Great pizza, perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients, the lot. The sauce was perfect, not out of the tin like in most places. We had a peperoni pizza, fresh, spicy pepperoni. I also rexomend the Emiliana, prosciuto, arugola, cherry tomatoes and fresh muzzarella. I am local and will definitely be coming back. Oh yeah, the service was great, fast and friendly. more

I know these guys from the time that they were running the kitchen of SPRIS restaurant in Miami. No wonder it was the number one restaurant at the time in Miami. \r Food is great. You couldn't find a table all day long. It was always packed. The two brothers are a kitchen talent. And they even take the time and explain to you how they come up and introduce new recipes. \r If you have been in a good Italian restaurant and left satisfied then you really need to try these guys. You would be surprised how high they raise the bar. \r Most definitely will visit their new place in the near future. \r Top quality and decor. more

This place is great!! Delicious pizza with fresh ingredients!!! Sit at the counter and chat with the chef/ owner! Watch them make your pizza! Great attention to detail! They have the yummiest balsamic dressing I dipped the crust of my pizza in!! more

Their pizza is super thin crust and top quality ingrediants. You can taste the quality. My favorite pizza is one that I have them add sliced tomato, basil, and garlic to the Montanera. Just ask for the "Dante Special". more
